Today is the last day of Serena & Lily’s biggest sale of the year and I wanted to highlight the pieces we own and love from their collection in case you are looking to spruce things up in your own home for the holidays! I’ve purchased a few pieces from their sale this month including a pair of these bedskirts (in white) for our guestroom with twin beds (they look very crisp and tailored – love!), and a pair of these handsome nautical flushmounts to use in our entry and kitchen. The flushmounts are minimalist and very pretty, while giving off just the right amount of diffused overhead light!
Many of our Serena & LIly pieces have been with us through multiple moves, and work equally well whether in our San Francisco house, Our Gramercy Park apartment, or our New Hampshire house! Here’s a roundup of everything we own and love that’s on sale right now!
Serena and Lily’s Fairmont Chandelier has been hung in so many of our apartments, and now the dining room of our current home. (Pictured in our Gramercy Park Apartment above!) I love using more modern lighting options which are a nice contrast to my vintage and antique pieces and this streamlined chandelier is a fresh take on a classic 8 arm shape. Currently available with charming rattan lampshades it’s a great scale adaptable to many spaces.
Another great way to add light to a space is with mirrors, placed on a wall that’s perpendicular to your windows to bounce light around the room. The Lanai mirror pictured above is a whimsical way to brighten any corner of your home! Lastly the shell tray on our coffee table is such a stunner – perfect for corralling bits and bobs on surfaces like a dresser, coffee table or large ottoman. (It’s very substantial so it’s best used for decor, not for carrying drinks around!)
SHOPPING LIST:
Serena and Lily offers a wonderful selection of tabletop pieces from these rattan placemats to this charcuterie board to elevate your holiday entertaining. I love this cheese board so much it stands on our kitchen counter as a display piece when not in use.
Serena and Lily has been making their beautiful Southport bedding for years. I love the scroll-y navy embroidery on their Southport Duvet, Euro and Standard Shams, paired with a patterned sheet set. Made in Portugal of 100% cotton and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Certified (safely tested to be free from harmful chemicals) these linens are a handsome addition to any bedroom in your home!
These navy “Tucker” chairs (available in 6 colors!) are a fantastic, affordable solution for smaller dining spaces. Their moulded seats make them very comfortable yet easily wipeable for cleaning up spills. I love the classic shape and airy slat-back design. This South Seas Rattan Bar Cart, available in 2 sizes (small here) and natural or black, is also a wonderfully versatile piece. We got ours in 2015 and it’s stood as a bar cart in our living room and dining room, pulled outside for parties and currently holds a bunch of fluffy white towels in our master bath. It works in so many spaces you can’t go wrong!
Serena and Lily’s upholstered pieces are another wonderful addition to any home. The Piccadilly chair is the most comfortable chair we own, and we have it in both of our guests rooms in different colors it’s so good! I love that you can customize both the upholstery fabric and legs/hardware on most of their furniture to personalize the piece for your own home.
Lastly, Serena and Lily has an amazing collection of fabrics by the yard, so whether you want a reupholster an existing piece in your home or just create something custom to complement another Serena & Lily piece of furniture, I love that anyone can buy extra yardage for decor projects. I have the Sunbrella performance stripe fabric in french blue from Serena and Lily on my custom ottoman in the image above, as I needed a specific size ottoman for my small colonial living room and it holds up beautifully even when our dog Darcy is doing her worst!
