Designing the Sarah Flint Popup in NYC
Welcome to the world of Sarah Flint! Sarah Flint's beautiful popup opened last week at 372 West Broadway in Soho and I'm thrilled to finally share photos of the space! This is the first time I've decorated a retail property and I loved working with the SF team to bring their brand identity to life.
Sarah and I first bonded over a mutual love of the Frick Collection, Pierre Frey Fabrics, the English countryside, and of course - beautiful shoes. If you've been reading here for any length of time you'll know how much I adore Sarah and the company she's building. Her shoes deliver style without sacrifice and are the most comfortable heels around. (My first post about the perfect pump here, full list of articles here.) But you don't have to take my word for it - Sarah Flint shoes are a favorite of everyone from Meghan Markle to Karlie Kloss, and each pair is handmade in the family-owned Italian factories that create heels for top fashion houses.
For the popup we envisioned a very cozy space and where customers would feel like they're stepping into Sarah's living room for afternoon tea and to try on some shoes. Inspired by English country houses and Sarah's own Greenwich Village apartment, we kept to a blue and white color scheme with pops of red, featuring Sarah's favorite William Morris wallpaper and fabrics. We inviting several of our favorite decor brands to partner on the space, including rugs from Annie Selke, furniture from oomph, and a tea service from Royal Copenhagen. The result is elevated yet homey, and a whole lot of fun!
If you're new to the Sarah Flint brand, you can use code "Stacie50" to get $50 off your first purchase in the popup or on sarahflint.com. And if you need help narrowing down which pair to get message me on Instagram! :)
I hope you will have the chance to visit and let me know what you think!
xx, Stacie
