English Countryside Packing List

To my mind, packing for a trip is half the fun and the below list is everything I packed for a week in the English Countryside. This is both an easy resource for you if you spot something you love on my Instagram, and a checklist for me to make sure I don’t leave anything behind! All of this fits in my personal itemone carry on and one checked bag, which is the maximum amount of luggage I ever like to travel with on a trip. I always pack my most special pieces plus the items I need to get me through the first 48-72 hours of the trip in my carry-on just in case the checked bag goes missing for a couple of days, and I highly recommend using apple air tags in your checked bag for extra peace of mind!

We’re headed to the Cotswolds and looking forward to long country walks, revisiting some of our favorite antique stores, afternoon tea, and cozy pub meals. I’m packing casual wax jackets or blazers for our walks, and a few dresses for dinners, but everything I packed would work well for a New England fall folliage road trip as well!  Read on for everything I packed for the Cotswolds!

My favorites are the Ralph Lauren plaid shirtdress and the Fleur Savage scarves.

Thanks! I’m heading to Turin, Italy for one week in early November, and I love referencing your packing lists.

Planning to visit the Cotswolds next year and looking forward to hearing all the details of your trip. Antique shopping and afternoon tea are two of my favorite things to do!

Love the large brown shawl with the fringe you are wearing in the first photo. What is it?

Hi Belle, The scarf is Sabina Savage – I love her fanciful designs. xx SF
