Everything I’m Packing for a Summer Trip to France

I love packing for summer adventures because the clothing is light and airy and you can bring a lot of options while still leaving room for souvenirs. I could hardly believe that I could fit 9 pairs of shoes, 5 handbags and 15 dresses in my carry on and checked bag and still had 6 kilos of weight allowance for treasures from our travels!

We are splitting our time between Paris and Provence/the Riviera and I brought a mix of more polished pieces for the city and laid back styles for the countryside and beach. I’m excited about many of the city pieces since they’ll transition beautifully into autumn as the weather cools. While Paris had a major heat wave two weeks ago it looks like we’ll luck out with weather in the mid-70s during out trip, and then mid-80s when we fly south. Perfection in my book! We are visiting friends in Paris who said Parisiens are already starting to leave for their summer travels so the city won’t feel as crowded as it did in June and early July.
