David and I love any excuse to dress up, especially when it’s for a good cause. We made a quick trip back to Nantucket in mid-July to attend the Nantucket Supper Club in support of ReMain Ventures. ReMain is an organization dedicated to strengthening the economic, social and environmental vitality of downtown Nantucket – while preserving it’s unique character and spirit for generations to come. Nantucket has given me so many special memories over the last 12 years and it’s a joy to support a cause so close to our hearts!
The event is held at The Nantucket Hotel – one of our favorite hotels on the island! We loved returning to The Nantucket and appreciated how all the staff remembered our names and greeted us like family.
We donned our finest and took a spin around town before dinner. I had been saving this gorgeous floral linen ball gown by Harshman for a special event and it was so fun to wear for a night of dinner and dancing! Chef Pedro’s four course dinner was incredible – from the cocktails to the ahi tuna gazpacho, and we loved breaking out our limited swing dancing skills from lessons we took ages ago. They are hosting another Nantucket Supper Club this Thursday, August 23rd (info here). If you’re on the island I can’t recommend it enough!
