Shop Small: Stylish Brands I Love for Fashion, Home & Little Ones

Small Business Saturday is one of my favorite days to spotlight the independent designers and creative founders whose work brings so much charm, style, and heart into our everyday lives. Today I’m sharing a curated edit of my favorite small brands to shop—from beautifully crafted accessories and inspired jewelry, to heritage children’s clothing and special home finds that make a space feel personal. These brands make up a big part of my home and wardrobe. These are the brands that stand out, tell a story, and support the talented artisans behind them. If you’re looking to gift thoughtfully or treat yourself to something truly unique, this is the list to shop.

Fashion

  • Kilte - My #1 destination for incredible quality loungewear, I have a bunch of their matching sets (including this sweater and pants and this twinset) and love their super soft cotton-cashmere blends. They have an amazing sale going on right now, and make great gifts!
  • Scanlan Theodore - A new to me brand, I wore this sequined top for my birthday dinner in NYC last month, and have several of their pieces on my Christmas wishlist like like dress, this top and this skirt!
  • Hunting Season - A favorite brand for minimalist handbags, I own and love their clutches like this and this, and use their hobo bag almost daily.
  • Alice Walk - A local Massachusetts based brand, they make gorgeous, high quality staples like this opulent cashmere crewneck that my mom and I own in multiple colors, this cashmere wrap, this cape, and this exceptional faux fur jacket. (All 20% off!)
  • Sarah Flint - One of my all time favorite brands and the founder has become a good friend, her shoes have tons of hidden comfort features, and she also makes the most gorgeous scarves and slippers. These are at the top of my wishlist!
  • Cartolina - Extremely beautiful quality, especially for the price, with embroidered details and designs you won't find anywhere else. My top picks include this cardigan, this dress, and this top!
  • Parisa Wang - A direct-to-consumer handbag brand that makes their bags in the same factories as top luxury brands without the insane markup. I have their Madison soft bag in two colors and they're perfect!
  • Ann Mashburn - I love this small brand for their classic staples, with a twist! Like these pink velvet mules, this lux cashmere poncho (on my wishlist!) and not to mention their handsome styles for men. I just got David this hadnsome sweater!
  • Savette - This little handbag brand is having a moment and I carry my suede bag all the time, and the shape comes in a rainbow of colors.
  • Margaux - Another great shoe brand, their downtown boot and fonteyn flat are staples every woman should own.

Jewelry

  • Haverhill - My #1 destination for beautiful, personalized birthstone and diamond jewelry to give and receive. (Currently 25% off site-wide!) I wear their pieces daily, from this Warren pendant necklace set with a garnet for my son's January birthday, to their beautiful diamond huggie hoops that are so comfortable I can sleep in them, to this insane Palmer pendant necklace. I just had their new Barrington ring set with diamonds and garnets (my husband and son's birthstones), and love the look of a whole stack of those rings on your finger! (Dear Santa, I'll take one more!) Not to mention their insanely cool Jamestown ring which just launched last week.
  • Dorsey - They use lab gemstones and fine jewelry craftsmanship to make timeless and vintage inspired jewels at more affordable price points. I wear their petite kate tennis bracelet everyday, and love their statement earrings like this and this.
  • Lizzie Fortunato - A go-to brand for brightly colored earrings and fun statement necklaces.

Children

  • Minnow - Minnow is one of the most charming, preppy children's brands out there. I've bought our son their breton stripe sweater in every size (with matching shorts) since he was a newborn, it's just the sweetest set. I also love their swimwear for children, we have several of these little swim trunks and rashguards for days in the water! (Currently running their only sale of the year!)
  • La Coqueta - First stumbled upon this brand while in London and I love their fancy yet well priced special occassion wear. From fair isle sweaters to the cutest corduroy pants, to all the smocked dresses for little girls. It's so darling!
  • Little English - A go-to destination for classic children's clothing, I die over these little quilted jackets!

Home

  • Cabana - This brand is a feast for the senses. Beautiful, vibrant textiles and ceramics that transform your space whatever your style.
  • Framebridge - We get all of our art and photographs framed here, it's so professional and affordable and they ship the finished product so fast! My go-to combination is a cream linen mat with the Waverly frame frame or this chunky Chelsea frame. They currently are offering 15% off digital print framing, which makes a wonderful gift (especially with a black and white photo)!
  • Biscuit - This brand makes gorgeous bedding and home accessories. I have several of their travel monogrammed cosmetic bags that make amazing gifts.
  • Wonderful Life Farm - A charming destination for home goods and holiday hosting essentials inspired by the New England lifestyle. I especially love their wrapping paper and caroling books!
  • Sharland England - A beautiful home brand with a quintessentially English countryside vibe, I especially love their dark toned rattan pieces and splatterware.
  • The Six Bells - A nostalgic shop and hotel in the Hudson River Valley, I bought our tree skirt from them as well as these beautiful french bread baskets.
  • Cadence - I'm so obsessed with their stylish and leak-proof travel capsules. I never leave home without my favorite products in them.
