The "second summer" we’ve enjoyed over the last week had me back in cotton dresses for a few days soaking up the sun. I was particularly excited to put on this one by Daydress for the first time. Made of crisp cotton block printed by hand in Jaipur I love everything about it - the whimsical pheasant pattern, fitted bodice and voluminous tiered skirt. It looks equally wonderful with a belt and riding boots or a pair of strappy heels. Shirt dresses are a great 4 season silhouette and the fit is so comfy I can wear it while working at my desk all day or when indulging at Friendsgiving dinners by night.
Daydress is founded and run by Gabby Deeming - the Interiors Creative Director for House and Garden UK (one of my absolute favorite shelter magazines.) This woman’s talents know no bounds. You can peek inside her charming London flat here, and pay special attention to her bedroom, which heavily inspired the design of my recent Manhattan bedroom.
This weekend Daydress is offering 15% off her collection and I scooped up the beautiful Maeve Dress as well.
