30 October Finds Under $300

October is one of my favorite months to get dressed, when cozy textures, rich autumn colors, and pretty layers make even the simplest outfits feel special. This month's finds under $300 are full of pieces that capture everything I love about fall style: chunky cable knits, flattering corduroys, classic plaids, beautiful scarves, and little finishing touches that make an outfit feel complete. I've also included a few lovely things for home, from a charming paisley tablecloth to the softest robe for slow weekend mornings. Whether you're heading out for a day of leaf peeping, dressing for the office, or settling in for a cozy evening at home, these are thirty affordable luxuries I'm loving this October.

  • My go-to fall uniform: a chunky sweater like this oatmeal cable knit polo with its polished collar, rosewood cords (the PERFECT fit!), and my comfy leopard ballet flats (the one splurge here, not under $300 but worth every penny). Top it all with this checked field jacket with a corduroy collar (under $90!) for crisp weekend mornings and apple picking.
  • Loop this cashmere-silk bandana scarf around your neck with a blazer, or drape it over your shoulders at dinner. (I just got it in navy and it looks so much more expensive than its price tag suggests!)
  • Plaid shirts feel so right for October. This ruffled check blouse is a feminine take in lightweight cotton (the shirred cuffs keep pushed-up sleeves in place!), and this cozy flannel button-up is more relaxed, and it looks great worn open over a slim turtleneck with jeans on the weekends.
  • Double pearl drop earrings like these look polished with everything from chunky knits to a little black dress.
  • If you love a matching workout set, this merlot crop tank and high-rise leggings are ultra-soft and so flattering. The tank has a built-in bra shelf, and the leggings have a hidden back pocket for your keys. (The rich fall color is so pretty!)
  • The swirly cream and tortoise tones on this claw clip make a cozy sweater and earrings feel finished.
  • I just ordered this paisley tablecloth (15% off with STACIE15) for fall dinner parties. Just add white plates and candlelight!
  • Navy and rust embroidery gives this easy shift dress such charm, perfect with flats now and boots later.
  • These jeans have been a favorite since the start of the year. Get them one hem length longer than you normally would (they come in petite, regular, and long) for the perfect jean to wear with heeled booties.
  • I have this polo (15% off with stacie15) in a bright poppy red (seen here), but I might like this navy stripe even better.
  • I have a feeling my mom will be buying this belted denim trench coat. It's such a fun twist on the classic, and it looks so chic over brown trousers and loafers.
  • I love the chartreuse trim on this soft Pima cotton robe for slow weekend mornings (and it has side pockets!).
  • Made in the UK, this wool Fair Isle scarf adds a heritage touch to any barn jacket.
  • I just got this olive pebbled leather toiletries set, with one case for travel toiletries and a smaller one to keep in my purse. The olive matches my luggage perfectly!
  • Snuggle into this belted Fair Isle cardigan over a slim turtleneck and jeans for fireside evenings.
  • Under $150, these cap-toe ballet flats in taupe suede work for the office and on weekends.
  • Stack your favorite charms on this tiny diamond-dotted gold clasp for a necklace that feels totally personal.
  • Cozy season calls for an oatmeal cashmere beanie like this one, so soft for crisp morning walks.
  • Here's a clever idea: thread this chocolate floral silk scarf through this reversible scarf belt for an instantly polished waist. The belt flips from saddle to cream leather (or black to brown), so it works over a knit dress now or with a crisp shirt and trousers later. The scarf is lovely on its own too, knotted at the neck or tied on a bag.
  • Rust-brown cotton makes this collared midi dress (15% off with STACIE15) perfect for early fall with flats, then boots and a cardigan later.
  • Layer this navy-and-white striped turtleneck under blazers and sweaters, or let it shine solo with camel trousers.
  • Brown leather gloves are such an easy way to look polished when temps drop. The long gloves are so chic peeking out from a coat or with a cocktail dress, while the short pair is the everyday version for errands and school drop-off.
  • Sweet heart-shaped earrings in rich tiger's eye stone with a sparkly center add warmth to every fall knit.
  • Aubergine corduroy is such a fresh fall color, and these flared cords (15% off with STACIE15) look great paired with a wrap cardigan.
  • This slim leather belt (20% off with StacieF20) reminds me of Hermes at a fraction of the price. Perfect for cinching dresses, trousers or your favorite skirt.
  • Classic for a reason, this mixed bristle hairbrush leaves hair healthy and glossy.
  • Under $150, this taupe wool mini skirt with a buckled wrap detail looks so chic with chunky knits and tall boots.
  • Two pieces I keep wearing on repeat: this brown striped button-up and my tiger's eye station necklace. The necklace sits right at the collarbone, so it peeks out perfectly from an open collar, and the magnetic clasp makes it a breeze to put on. Tuck the shirt into trousers for the office, or wear it with jeans on the weekend.
  • Chocolate suede and gold zipper pulls make this slim top handle bag a polished fall find under $300.
  • The scalloped trim on this brown striped tee is such a sweet twist on a classic Breton.
  • Wine tones are everywhere this fall, and I've got a whole evening look for you for under $200. Drape this cropped burgundy cable sweater over the washable silk maxi slip for evening events and dinner dates. (I've worn this combo in navy, seen here.)
  • It's surprisingly hard to find 100% cotton sweatshirts, but this one is just the right weight. It's a gorgeous terry with raglan construction, and you'll want one in every color. (I sized up, but didn't need to.)
