A Really Good Cardigan (& My Secret Source for Cashmere)

Sweater weather is upon us and I am in my element. In New England we often pack sweaters year-round but this time of year knitwear really has its moment to shine. I first discovered how good Tuckernuck's cashmere is when I brought this v-neck sweater to England in September and ended up reaching for it constantly. The weight, silhouettes and price point of Tuckernuck's Cashmere Collection are all spot on and I have added quite a few to my closet over the past several months. What is extra special is their monogramming service, which offers the chicest fonts and placement, which would make any of their sweaters an amazing gift this holiday season. I personally love a tonal monogram, and if you scroll down for the photo of my wrist, you can make out a subtle "SKF" in navy thread.

I love the ladylike connotations and practicality of a cardigan sweater, and this one from Tuckernuck is an instant classic. Wear it fully buttoned up as a top, or leave the top few open for a different look. It is roomy around the bust (no gaping buttons!) and nips in at the waist for a slightly vintage look which I love, and works really well with high waisted skirts, jeans and pants. Plus the covered buttons feel so elevated, especially for a sweater under $200. The denim blue marled thread is gorgeous and pairs nicely with light, medium or dark wash denim. (I love these high waisted flares with the cardigan - and you can get 15% off my denim with code "Stacie15"!) My only complaint is that the don't make this sweater in more colors! Scroll down for two (of many) ways to style this gorgeous sweater, one dressy, and one casual.
