Autumn’s Earthy Tones

Autumn's golden glow invites us to embrace the season's earthy yet sophisticated palette. • Cotton midi skirts in dark colors are a four-season secret weapon. Pair a chunky knit and knee high boots in winter, then swap for tank tops and sandals in summer. The olive skirt (on sale) I'm wearing above has the comfiest smocked waistband, which slims your waist and creates the perfect foundation for a statement belt. The day I wore this look it was 78 degrees, and the perfect outfit for feeling autumnal despite balmy temperatures.
• I have the cashmere tee I'm wearing above in several colors, and it's a versatile staple that is just the right weight to wear on it's own or layer under blazers. I also own and love this long sleeved cashmere tee. (So many beautiful colors!)

• I love brogue detailing on loafers and just got this pair (on sale) - which has a small heel for a little lift and an academic vibe which I always love this time of year. • This barn jacket is made of the most gorgeous plaid, which features a range of tans and browns, but also includes burgundy and aqua which make it so special. I wore it for a farm visit earlier this month (seen here) and it's a simply an elegant "third piece" that works for town or country.
• This amber silk dress is a splurge, but after seeing it in a window in NYC I can't get it out of my head. Pair with my simple slingback heels.
• Bundle up in a yummy cashmere sweater (on sale through midnight tonight!) with this ruffled shirt peeking out of the collar. Add this scarf draped around your shoulders, these jeans (on sale), and these flats and you're out the door.
• I like to brighten a neutral look with a little bit of sparkle. Whether you opt for groovy gold hoops (I'm wearing them above and LOVE them!) or go for a drop earring that catches the light.
• I love a hobo bag for cooler days (perfect for carrying a scarf, gloves, etc!) and my favorite from last year was just brought back in a yummy chocolate suede (Mine was leather, seen here, and there's a darker leather version left here). I also own and love this one.
• I own several of these blazers by Blaze Milano and they're my favorite - the tailoring is unmatched and enhances your figure to a tee, plus I love the big front pockets which fit a passport and phone perfectly, making them a favorite of mine for travel days. This blazer is similar, and also has impeccable tailoring but is less than half the price.
• This boucle car coat is an elevated everyday topper that looks fabulous over work attire or with jeans and a tee for school pickup.
