Daily seasonal styles to inspire your own timeless wardrobe

Simply put: I love a good belt. This accessory is the unsung hero of the winter outfit, enhancing everything from a sweater and jeans to your favorite dresses, especially with a little metallic moment that defines your waist and brightens some of the season's darker hues. If you're looking for an easy way to upgrade your outfits now and throughout the year investing in a new belt might just be the ticket. While many luxury designers offer belts with a large logo buckle, I've never been a fan of the walking billboard look, and have found a few smaller brands that offer gorgeous quality belts for a fraction of the designer price tags. Here are a few of my favorites in my own closet and inspiration on how to wear them.

  • Aureum No. 6 Belt - This simple, elegant belt comes in brown and black and is a delicate way to tie together your outfit. I styled it with a chunky aran sweater (a few left here!) and jeans for a day of antiquing and love the polish it adds to the look. (Get 20% off with code "Stacie20".)
  • Sarah Flint Vienna Belt - I have this belt in three colors and it really transforms an outfit. See some favorite looks with it here, here and here!
  • Aureum No. 8 - I got this black belt with a pretty organic gold buckle a few months ago and it's just. so. chic. I love how it looks with sweater dresses (scroll down) or breaking up an all-black outfit with the gold buckle as I did here and here. (Also fab over a maxi dress like this!) • Sarah Flint Scarf Belt - Currently on sale with only a few sizes left I love the versatility of this beautiful belt as you can swap in any 90cm silk scarf to change up the look. Plus, it's reversible so you can feature the black or the cognac leather - it's like two belts in one and also great for hiding a tummy after a big meal! :)
