Blue and White Stripes
Since I started posting daily looks I haven’t shared as many outfit blog posts but I think it's time to bring them back. I just loved this classic combination of blue and white so much I wanted to share more than one picture! Blue and white has a timeless appeal for women of all ages, and there’s something about only wearing two colors at a time that instantly elevates your look. This striped shirt is a wardrobe staple and my first piece by Alex Mill - and I have to say I’m so impressed with the cut and quality. The wider stripe feels vacation ready - in contrast to a thin stripe that feels more office appropriate. The sweater has a mock neck and looks great thrown over the shoulders or worn over the shirt with the collar popped and a front tuck. (Loved it so much I just bought the white as well since it's only $118!) A perfect warm weather combo for a walk on the beach followed by lunch in Naples, but would also look at home on Cape Cod, the Amalfi Coast or anywhere in between. If you aren't a fan of shorts (or it's too cold for bare legs!) these white jeans (size down) are phenomenal.
I've been an avid collector of Stubbs and Wootton Loafers over the years and while most have fun embroidered patterns on the toe I love the elegant simplicity of their new woven raffia collection, which is also available in chocolate brown, black and natural.
