With warm weather events and travels coming up I wanted to put a fabulous new brand on your radar – Cartolina. I first discovered this wonderful brand when planning our trip to the Amalfi Coast and brought their gorgeous eyelet Sarah dress with me. It was the perfect silhouette for everything from sunset drinks on Ischia to lunch in Saint Tropez, and I even wore it well into my second trimester when we hosted a little gender reveal dinner to tell my parents we were having a boy! Cartolina’s collection includes unique designs I haven’t seen elsewhere and didn’t know my wardrobe was missing, and I love that their dresses can work for so many occasions — whenever you need a gorgeous piece that makes you feel your best!
I packed two dresses from their new collection for our trip to the Bahamas and let me tell you these are major compliment magnets. I wore their floral Sabine dress for sunset drinks at the Rock House. The column shape has a vintage elegance to it, that works perfectly with slicked back hair and a pair of drop earrings. I love the placed floral print which has a slimming effect and that it can be dressed up or down. Whether you have a garden party, baptism, or spring wedding on the books this dress can do it all with a change of shoes.
I also brought along their lavender Isabelle caftan, and love the chic bohemian feel of the embroidery, and soft guaze-y fabric. Its perfect for throwing on over your swimsuit for a poolside lunch, or pairing with hoop earrings and a clutch for dinner. There is something so elevated about the placed embroidery, which traces the hem and neckline of the piece. I also love the lavender hue which looks fabulous against sun-kissed skin. The definition of effortless glamour!
