Cozy Cardigan Season
This past weekend we met up with our friends Gina and Bill for a beach fire and s'mores. Gina put together such a beautiful spread including our favorite rosé from Provence - it was the perfect late-summer evening! I wrapped up in a favorite shawl-collared cardigan and love a chunky knit this time of year, which is perfect for when you want that cozy layer in the evening but a jacket feels like overkill. Whether you're drawn to intarsia patterns or cable knits, cotton or wool, there's a cardigan out there for every style! With the fall collections coming out this week, it's the perfect time to add a chunky cardigan to your wardrobe to top off your late summer looks and enjoy throughout the autumn and winter months.
- Two styles very similar to my cardigan include this wave motif version, and the pretty floral jacquard in this wrap cardigan is so chic. This birds eye version is a very affordable take on the look, and all are perfect with white denim (or a bathing suit) on the beach now, and blue jeans later.
- I like the sailor collar on this relaxed neutral sweater, perfect for pairing with a flannel shirt and pants or wooly mini skirts this fall.
- The warm hues in this sweater will segue effortlessly into fall.
- Simple and versatile, this cotton cable sweater is on sale for under $60!
- This red, white, and navy striped cardigan is a preppy take on the style.
- This marled cardigan (especially love the oatmeal) is a great topper to help all your sundresses transition into fall.
- Loving the basketweave knit on this modern shape.
- I own and love many Heidi Wynne sweaters and this long wool aran cardigan is such a classic!
- The neutral hues in this splurge-y wrap cardigan works with both white sundresses now and leather pants later.
