French Riviera

I like to say that anywhere on the Mediterranean coast is my favorite place in the world, but among my favorite places, the French Riviera holds a special spot with its tasteful aesthetics and French charm. I love getting away to the Côte d'Azur in late spring or early summer when the weather is perfect, not yet too hot, and it's still cold back home where we live. Similar to Provence, the Riviera is home to old towns with tightly packed buildings showcasing regional pastel colors and filled with delightful cafes and restaurants.
