Everything I’ve Been Using on My Skin Lately

While most of these products have a permanent place in my routine year-round, they really earn their keep during the summer months. Between dehydrating chlorine and salt water, long days in the sunshine, and the general wear and tear of travel and heat, my skin needs a little extra exfoliation, hydration, and nourishment this time of year. I’m also a big believer in checking the ingredients before adding anything new to my daily routine. I use the Yuka app, which makes it incredibly easy—you can simply scan a product’s barcode and get an ingredient evaluation on the spot, and try to ensure anything I use on a daily basis gets an "excellent" rating. It’s especially helpful when shopping in person or traveling abroad; when we ran out of sunscreen in Italy, I used it to compare the options even though all the packaging was in Italian! These are the face and body products I reach for again and again to keep everything feeling soft, smooth, and glowy all summer long.

• Exfoliation is the key to glowy skin and the jumbo size of this exfoliating cleanser (ingredients) is so worth it. I use it every morning to buff away dullness and reveal that fresh, glowy skin before applying anything else.
• For an instant glow before a night out (or just because), this exfoliator (ingredients) is unreal. It polishes away roughness and leaves skin looking so smooth and radiant. I use it twice a week.
• I slather on this night cream (ingredients) before bed and wake up with the softest, most hydrated skin. I started using it last December after trying the samples at Browns Hotel in London and it's become a non-negotiable step in my evening routine, especially after sun-filled days. Nothing softens my fine lines like this night cream. Nothing!
• During the day I love using this super hydrator (ingredients) to moisturize. It really plumps up my skin, and takes a moment to sink in, so I usually apply it then brush my teeth before putting on foundation.
• A luxurious eye cream (ingredients) that truly delivers, the metal ball applicator is a game-changer, which glides on a thin veil of product and feels fabulously cool and relaxing as you apply the cream. I apply it morning and night, and it's gentle enough for sensitive eyes.
• If you need a no-excuses way to cleanse post-workout or to prep for an overnight flight, these cleansing wipes (ingredients) are individually wrapped and serum-soaked.
• The cooling sensation of this lip treatment (ingredients) is so refreshing on hot days. It's featherlight, never sticky, and keeps my lips soft and nourished whether I'm at the beach or running around town. (I love this super fun collaboration between Olympia Le-Tan and Irene Forte. That book clutch is gorgeous!)

• I add warmth to my complexion with these bronzing drops (ingredients). I use their lightest color (Soleil Parfait 1) and pat it around the edge of my face and across the bridge of my nose. Just very pretty!
• This lip oil was included in a goodie bag on the Marea Nantucket trip and it's amazing! I have it in both oclors but especially love it in urchin. It's relatively new, and yuka didnt have a rating, but I asked chat to evaluate the ingredients here).

• My everyday body wash is actually this bar soap (ingredients), but nothing makes a shower feel more spa-like than this body scrub (ingredients). I use it 2x a week year-round, and love how moisturized my skin feels as I step out of the shower.
• I've been reaching for this body lotion (ingredients) every single morning. It absorbs so quickly and leaves skin feeling firmed and nourished for up to 48 hours! I use the fragrance free version and love giving it as a gift, the recipients almost always declare they're hooked and reorder for themselves.
• I'm obsessed with this lotion bar set (ingredients). You glide the solid bar over damp skin after a shower and it melts in like silk. This moisturizer gives you a supermodel-esque shine, so I especially love to use on my arms or legs for a date night. (And the scent is unreal!)
• Keep one of these in every handbag. This hand cream (ingredients) absorbs instantly without any greasy feeling, and the ceramide-rich formula actually repairs dry, sun-exposed hands over time, I also have one on my nightstand and it's the last thing I do before going to bed.
• We generally try to stay out of the sun in the middle of the day, but if we're at the beach or playing in the backyard I slather on this mineral sunscreen that is waterproof for up to 90 minutes.
