My Most-Worn Fall Boots

The temperatures are dropping and it's time to start thinking about the key pieces you need to round out your wardrobe for the coming months! Beautiful boots are a wardrobe staple and I've owned each of these styles for several years and their timeless appeal makes them wonderful investments for elevating both casual and dressier looks for autumn and winter.

Right now, Sarah Flint is offering 20% off all boots and booties with code "FALLREBOOT".

The Zip Bootie 30mm

This classic ankle bootie has a flattering almond toe and beautiful gold zippers on the inside and outside of the ankle making them so easy to get on and off. (They were a godsend when I was pregnant!) Available in a 30mm and 70mm heel, they are the perfect match for relaxed denim due to the close fit around the ankle, which doesn't add visual bulk to your ankle keeping the line of your legs long. Give them a coating of suede protectant before you wear them and they'll look beautiful for years to come!

The Alexandra Boot

This close fitting knee-high suede boot is such a winner. Again, the close fitting ankle means they don't add bulk to your look, and the 50mm tortoise block heel gives you a little lift while still being super walkable. Traveling with boots can be tough, but the soft shaft can be folded and takes up very little space in your luggage making them a no-brainer for autumn/winter travel! Wear the Alexandra with mini skirts now (tights optional) and under midi and maxi skirts later for some extra warmth.

The Riding Boot

I've waxed poetic about these riding boots many times before but they really are the platonic ideal of a riding boot for me. The almond toe elongates your leg and the criss-cross strap at the ankle offers a little equestrian flair. I love wearing my black pair with black denim or corduroy for a sleek look, and my brown pair is a go-to for mini skirt/sweater looks and above the knee dresses! They are substantial enough to balance chunky knits and thick wooly skirts.
