Gal Meets Glam Collection Launch!

Today is a special day: not only is it my half birthday, but more importantly, the much anticipated Gal Meets Glam Collection launched today! I met GMG Collection's founder and designer, Julia Engel, in San Francisco a few years back, and was instantly impressed with her elegance, kindness, and business savvy. We've kept in touch over the years and I'm thrilled to see Julia and Thomas', hard work pay off with the launch of GMG Collection. For her debut as a designer, Julia has anticipated every event on our spring and summer calendars and designed the perfect dress to wear for each one. Her line is already conjuring praise from the likes of Town and Country, who declared her collection "supremely gorgeous", and I have to agree. When I saw the look book, I instantly fell in love with the whole line, eventually selecting the Courtney in a fresh blue and white striped cotton. Simply put, I love this dress. Aside from the flattering fit, I love the attention to detail: like matching the pattern at the seams and self-covered buttons which make this dress look so much more expensive than its $168 price tag.
