How to Style a Long Pendant Necklace
I usually wear the same sentimental jewelry everyday. In fact, I often sleep in my favorite everyday diamond hoop earrings and garnet necklace featuring our little boy's birthstone, not to mention I shower, swim and workout in them too. Except for the occasional statement earring for a fancy night out, I rarely change up the jewelry I'm wearing, but that all changed when my friend Haverhill kindly sent me this beautiful Palmer Diamond Dome Necklace from her new Palmer collection. (I'm wearing the 32" mini adelaide chain.) A long pendant necklace is such a stylish statement, and can transform, elevate, and brighten your whole look.
I first saw Haverhill's Palmer collection when it was still in development in spring of 2023, and instantly fell in love with it's radiant design. Crafted from diamonds and solid 14K gold, this shimmering piece is the punctuation to almost any outfit. When I first considered this necklace, I assumed it would be a special occasion piece, but since the package arrive about 2 weeks ago I've been surprised that it is the perfect finishing touch to most outfits.
One of the best aspects of a long pendant necklace is how the long "V" shape draws the eye, which can slim your face and elongating your figure. I am especially excited to wear it in the autumn and winter months when the majority of my outfits are topped off with a sweater and a long necklace adds just the right amount of interest to a solid colored top! Or if you're wearing darker colors like my navy knit, it brightens things up with a hint of gold and sparkle. I paired the Palmer Diamond Dome Necklace with my first ever Haverhill piece - this petite birthstone necklace - for a delicate layered look that I just love!
