My Clean Beauty Favorites from the Sephora Sale
The big Sephora Sale is on, and so many of my tried-and-true beauty favorites are included! I am a self-confessed beauty addict, and one of my favorite parts of this job is discovering the latest and greatest in skincare, makeup, and haircare, especially as my skin starts to mature. But I'm just as particular about what goes into my products as I am about how well they work. When we were trying to get pregnant four years ago, I completely overhauled my beauty routine to prioritize cleaner ingredients and avoid potentially harmful chemicals and hormone disruptors. I've never looked back! (I always check the Yuka rating for products, and I’ve linked them below.) These days, I'm always on the hunt for products that deliver beautiful results without compromising on ingredients, and nothing makes me happier than finding something truly worth sharing. Today I'm rounding up the products I reach for day after day, from my holy-grail foundation to the hair tools I can't live without. These are the ones that have earned a permanent place in my routine, and the sale is the perfect excuse to stock up on old favorites or discover something wonderful and new!

MAKEUP AND SKINCARE
- If I have one recommendation I want you to try, it's this foundation: the Westman Atelier foundation (ingredients) is weightless, with peptides and niacinamide that brighten and smooth. (A big photo of my face where I'm wearing it below - it's so good!) I started using it in September and I'm a convert. It reminds me of the flawless finish of Armani's Luminous Silk foundation, which I used to wear long ago and loved...until I discovered how bad its ingredients were. I heard on a podcast that Westman Atelier's foundation was designed to be a cleaner version of Armani's Luminous Silk, and I think they nailed it! A flawless finish with great ingredients!
- Pat these featherlight bronzing drops (ingredients) around the edge of your face and across the bridge of your nose for believable, sun-kissed warmth. The finish is shimmer-free and never streaky. The lightest shade (Soleil Parfait 1) is so very pretty in the middle of winter or summer.
- Unruly brows, meet your match. This tinted brow gel (ingredients) adds fluffy, feathery fullness, which is great on days you want more definition. I also have this clear brow gel (ingredients), which lifts and sets brows in place with a lamination effect for an effortless, groomed look on bare-faced days.
- If you want lashes that look like yours, only longer, start with this edge-free eyelash curler. It curls without pinching. Then sweep on this clean mascara (ingredients) in black, which lengthens and separates without clumping. I have used and loved this mascara for 6+ years.
- Dry winter lips don't stand a chance against this lip balm (ingredients). It hydrates on the first glide and leaves a soft sheen, then rebuilds your lips' moisture barrier over time. Wear it alone on bare-faced weekends or under lipstick before a night out.
- Exfoliation is the key to glowy skin, and this exfoliating cleanser (ingredients) buffs away dullness with BHA and apricot microspheres. Use it in the morning before anything else for fresh, smooth skin. The jumbo size lasts forever; I've been using my newest bottle since July and am only halfway through.
- Dewy, nourished skin for up to 48 hours is the promise of this moisturizer (ingredients). It feels luxe but lightweight and visibly softens and smooths. It's nourishing enough to use year-round, under makeup or on its own.
HAIR
- I have naturally curly hair and am always looking for the easiest way to get a salon-quality blowout at home. This dual-voltage air styler is my hairstyling MVP. I love the oval-shaped round brush which makes even clumsy gals like me feel confident doing my own blowout. It has ceramic curling attachments and is designed to minimize heat damage, so it's perfect for everyday use in addition to travel. (Before the T3, I had TWO Dyson Airwraps, one for home and one for Europe, but I prefer using the T3 all the time. I just get better results with my hair!) If you don't care about dual voltage or the extra attachments, this blow dry brush takes hair from smooth and sleek to bouncy in one easy step and is only $100.
- One smooth pass is all it takes with this pretty pink flatiron. Its ceramic plates fight frizz and boost shine. The 1-inch plate can straighten, wave, or curl, so you can finish a sleek blowout for the office or add loose waves for the weekend.
- A few drops of this lightweight hair oil (ingredients) before blow-drying protects hair up to 450°F, while jojoba and argan oils smooth frizz and add a gorgeous, healthy shine. (A little goes a long way!) Smooth a little over your ends to polish off your blowout, too.
- Busy mornings call for this genius dry shampoo (ingredients), a talc-free, non-aerosol powder with tapioca starch to soak up oil and tsubaki oil to keep strands hydrated. No white cast, and it's perfect for stretching a blowout a few extra days. (I never use aerosol spray dry shampoos. No one needs that in their lungs!)
BODY
- Nécessaire makes the nicest everyday body care. The body lotion (ingredients) with niacinamide and peptides absorbs so quickly, with no sticky feeling, and I love that they make a fragrance-free version. The ceramide-rich hand cream (ingredients) is a winter secret weapon with zero greasy feel. Tuck one in every handbag, and both make lovely gifts.
- Rub this cocoa butter lotion bar (ingredients) over your skin after a shower, and it glides on like silk with the most gorgeous supermodel glow. It's crazy clean (made from entirely edible ingredients!) and comes in a lovely, giftable box. It's also a great stocking stuffer.
