While traveling with the Sarah Flint team in Italy to see how they create their gorgeous shoes I wanted to share my four most-worn styles from her collection. If you’re choosing your first Sarah Flint shoe I recommend starting with one of her “perfect” styles. A shoe is named “perfect” when it has anatomical arch support, an extra 6mm of padding in the sole and a wider toe box to reduce crowding, making these styles (often with 3″+ heels) so comfortable you can wear them all day!
These “Perfect” Zip Booties are new this fall and come in two colors and two heel heights. I’m wearing the cognac suede 70mm heel and they are an excellent shoe for travel – comfortable for walking all day and versatile enough to wear with pants or dresses. The simple, elegant silhouette means they’re a classic you’ll reach for year after year. While I don’t personally own the black version (yet!) I know they hold up beautifully in the rain after seeing members of the team wear them on a few wet days in Vigevano.
The Natalie flat is my number one go-to shoe and they look darling with everything from cropped pants to shift dresses to shorts. I wore my white pair all summer and they have lasted so well I got them in this beautiful merlot suede for fall.
The Perfect Pump 85mm in taupe was my first pair of Sarah Flint shoes and instantly made me a believer in her brand. The first day I tried them on I walked 2 miles and didn’t have a single blister when I took them off! Since then, I’ve also purchased the perfect pumps in black suede, and have the navy suede and gunmetal lame on my wishlist as well. The perfect pump comes in three heel heights (30mm, 85mm and 100mm) and while I’m partial to the 85mm, I love the sweet look of the kitten heel (30mm) too.
Lastly, the Perfect Sandal has the same incredibly comfortable features that make Sarah’s pumps so wonderful but in a strappy style perfect for the season’s parties, galas and weddings. I love the 85mm heel height in these as well – just enough lift to create an elegant line, but manageable enough to dance all night!
