November brings with it a fresh wave of accessories that make dressing for the season feel effortlessly polished. • Exciting new holiday collections are starting to drop, and I've been looking forward to Sarah Flint's holiday collection the most. I got to preview everything a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with this cashmere-silk scarf, inspired by the mosaic ceiling of the Topkapı Palace in Istanbul. This generous 140 cm shawl features a beautiful array of colors from emerald to ruby to sapphire blue, making it easy to throw on with almost any coat or sweater in your closet. Super soft and the perfect layer for chilly days. I'm so excited to wear this piece through the holidays and beyond. (I feel like her shawls sell out quickly, so don't wait on this one! Or for something more subtle, I love this one too.)
• As for shoes, I just ordered these velvet platform heels, I'm obsessed with the embroidery on the heel and know I'll be reaching for them with many of my festive looks. (They're already sold out in some sizes!) I love that they're a platform but not crazy high. I also love this cap toe flat and slide, (both of which are fab for hosting!) and this stunning lace kitten heel (check out that buckle detail!)
• I'm usually a small bag girl, but when the temperatures start to dip I start gravitating towards totes and bigger hobo bags as a catchall for hats, mittens, and gloves. I splurged on this insanely beautiful green tote a month ago and it is a workhorse! Lined in cashmere (!), every detail is perfection, and the pebbled leather is gorgeous and resilient. I also own this tote (seen here) that has a very similar vibe at a fraction of the price, and if you're after a green bag, I own and love this hobo bag and the green just went on sale!
• When I was getting dressed for my birthday dinner, I realized I don't have a simple, goes-with-everything black clutch. I just ordered this sleek satin option, and also loved this budget-friendly velvet clutch.

• I bought this pillbox style shearling hat last winter and it turned out to be my cold-weather hero. I bought it on a ski trip to the Alps and wore it non-stop at home. This black pillbox hat is tempting me this year, especially as a blank canvas for this season's brooch revival. Picture it with this, this, or this attached to the brim.
• Other dreamy statement earrings you'll enjoy during the holidays and beyond include these sapphire studs (on my wishlist!), these emerald drops, and these Bottega gold knot hoops. My friend was wearing the knots and I asked if they were vintage. SO CHIC!
• I love a velvet slipper in wintertime, and they're especially nice for throwing on when you need to dress up but don't have the energy for heels. I these black velvet loafers, as well as these green embroidered loafers and am totally in love with both! This shocking pink pair of mules and this embroidered navy loafer are also fabulous!
• Perhaps this is odd to include, but my feet swell on flights, so I never travel without my favorite compression socks. I got my first pair while visiting a friend in Paris, I was pregnant and my ankles were huge and she pulled them out of her own drawer and gave them to me for the flight home. I've been a big fan ever since. They're also great for everyday wear under boots or with sneakers.
• I've wanted a watch for a long time and felt so fortunate to get the one I've dreamed of from David for my birthday. But let me tell you, watches are addictive. It feels so good to tell the time on your wrist! There are so many beautiful options out there, whether you opt for an iconic Cartier watch, or a classic everyday style like this.
• This little black suede bag is a year-round favorite (seen here, here and here!) but I just found this lookalike, for one-tenth the price.
• Accessories aren't just for when you're out and about. Come winter I love slipping on a cozy pair of shearling slippers and my two favorites include this and Sarah Flint Slippers.
• This sneaker is essentially a social acceptable house slipper for the outdoors. Plus it's named after my dog. So cozy! I think I need it.
• If you're traveling for the holidays might I suggest this super-packable evening bag? I got the jacquard version last Christmas, but also love the satin options. They take up almost no space in your luggage and fit a surprising amount. This belt is another favorite from the same brand. It's a gorgeous stretchy plaited design. I plan to wear mine with a black sweater and cream trousers.
