I had to pull an old photo for a client this week which had me scrolling through unpublished images from last year. I feel very fortunate to have been to Europe so many times in the last 12 months (mostly for work!) that I keep discovering new destinations I haven't shared on the blog yet. While shooting Sarah Flint's Spring '22 Collection in Italy last fall, we made a day trip to Positano and lucked out with the most beautiful 78 degree day. A rarity in late October, it took us by surprise and I had to buy a dress when we arrived because I was melting in the cashmere turtleneck and cape I put on that morning!
While most of the day was spent wandering Positano's tiny streets capturing images of the collection, I did have time to pop into a few favorite places, including Le Sirenuse where David and I started our honeymoon. I bought the white maxi dress in these photos (similar here) at Emporio Sirenuse right across the street from the hotel, which was having such an amazing end of season sale I picked up a blue midi skirt as well. (Both of which came in handy since we always seem to run out of outfits during photoshoots.) I also love and recommend Ceramiche Casola for painted pottery and ending the day with a spritz on the spectacular terrace at Marincanto pictured at the very top of this post. (I'd happily return to stay there and it's so reasonably priced!)
These images have me putting up airfare for a return ticket. What bliss!
