It’s been a busy week building out the Sarah Flint popup (opening Oct 8th!) but wanted to share a few images we snapped before a dinner at Hardings. I love the bais cut silk skirt trend especially when paired with a cozy cashmere sweater and heels.
This skirt has a little something special in its asymmetric hemline and in the fact that it’s not a skirt at all – it’s a dress! You may already know that I love the brand Mestiza for event dressing from their fabulous gowns to cocktail attire. I wore this gold Mestiza number to a television premiere a few weeks ago, with silver Sarah Flint heels, mixed metal jewelry and a tortoise clutch. A few weeks later as the temperatures dipped I popped a sweater over the dress for a cozy date night look. Now that David and I share a tiny Manhattan closet I’m extra excited for pieces that pull double duty – and a dress that works equally well for cocktail attire and date night is doubly deserving of a space in my closet. (And the way this fabric shimmers when it moves!!!)
