Outfit Formula: Matching Belts + Shoes
Just a short post today to share a combo that I LOVE and will be reaching for repeatedly in the coming months: this belt and these shoes! (Snag both on sale through this weekend!)
Matching your shoes to your bag is a common shortcut for looking put together, but keeping matching belt and shoe combos at the ready is a effortless way to add polish to dresses, skirt/top looks and high-waisted pants! I recently shared that my favorite belts are on major sale and just had to buy another one in black to round out my collection. (I wear the 75cm size.) These belts are a glamorous accessory that you didn't know you needed, and make getting dressed super easy when you pair with shoes in a matching color. I love this outfit formula for everything from days spent museum hopping to dressing for the office. While any black shoe will pair beautifully with this belt, I especially love these black lace shoes as a comfortable yet elegant way to dress up any little black dress! (Runs true to size.) Other fabulous black shoes that are a part of the sale include these suede round toe pumps which would look amazing with a silk skirt and the belt!
The dress I'm wearing in these photos is an old Emilia Wickstead number, but if you'd like to recreate this outfit I'd recommend this tuckernuck dress which is a versatile, flattering cut that I own in two colors.
