Sand Dollar Sugar Cookies

If a snickerdoodle cookie and shortbread had a baby, it would be this adorable sand dollar sugar cookie. They are the perfect sweet for a Hawaiian themed party like the one I designed here, or at any beachy gathering. I could also see them presented in treat bags tied with ribbon as a party favor, since they travel well and won't crumble on the ride home. Just be sure to give them plenty of space on the cookie sheet while baking and they'll come out in perfect crisp circles. Find the full recipe (I didn't change a thing!) here.
