September Obsessions

Hello September! As we step into a new month I’m gathering the pieces that feel just right for the season ahead. Think cozy knits to welcome the chill, a few fresh updates around the home, and glamorous dresses that make the calendar feel festive. • As we start to anticipate cozy days indoors I'm starting to think of little decor updates. Whether it's adding a chic little box to a dresser, or arranging flowers in an earthy ceramic vase or cachepot.

Just ordered what seems like my 100th tote in their new antique olive version for myself, as well as this new tall style in natural. You can never have too many.
• These suede ballet flats look perfect, I'm watching to see if they restock my size.
• David made fresh sourdough yesterday and I pulled out my French bread basket for dinner. Elegant and useful!
• This is such a handsome wool coat for little boys. Just ordered it on sale!
• I just got this cashmere crew (under $100!) in the yummy brown color, and saw they just came out with a pretty stormy blue as well.
• A new season means new denim! I'm become a massive Frame fan over the past year and while they send me their new pants to try, I've also been gifted by other brands that I don't love and therefore...don't mention! • I love the look of a skirted table covered in framed photographs and am thinking of putting one in the corner of our bedroom. • As the days get shorter I consider if I need a little extra light or two to create a cozy glow. I have three of these floor lamps sprinkled throughout our house and find them impossibly chic. (Currently 20% off!) The are just the right little touch of light and have a small footprint and are perfect for tucking into tight corners.
• I own and love this green wool coat. It's surprisingly lightweight and a great piece for fall. (See it in the Alps last year here!)
• I bought two of these cotton-silk henleys and they are so comfortable, so easy, and my husband can't stop saying how much he loves them. The perfect slightly sexy top to pair with jeans for autumn. I'm hoping they make more colors!
