As we welcome March I’m ready to embrace spring with ladylike jackets, pastel hues and woven accessories. We’ve been soaking up the sun while visiting family in Naples, Florida this week and this look from Talbots is perfect for an al fresco dinner on your next warm weather getaway! There is so much to love about this boucle jacket – the pockets, cropped silhouette, and nubby mint fabric look great with a slight tan. (I recommend sizing down – I’m 5’9″ and wearing a 0 Petite.) Instead of pairing the jacket with a standard blouse, it’s fun to mix things up for evening by tying a silk scarf on as a top (tie the knot around the back of your strapless bra to keep it in place). Topping things off with this clutch which is the only bag you need on vacation and these heels are a wardrobe staple that coordinate with every look in my suitcase from dresses to shorts. We had the best evening catching the sunset on Naples beach before a dinner at Bleu Provence – both of which I highly recommend!

Hi Mackenzie! Properties right along the coast are definitely still recovering and several beaches are closed for restoration however most of the restaurants and shops in Old Naples and inland are already back to business as usual. There was a red tide when we were there which means we didn’t swim in the gulf but other than that it we were still thrilled with our time in Naples!
