(Updated August 9, 2022) Whenever I wear my custom Stubbs & Wootton Velvet Slippers on Instagram I get a deluge of messages asking where they’re from. With a lush velvet upper and cheeky embroideries they’re the ultimate conversation starter. I absolutely love my Stubbs and wear them on a daily basis whenever I want to be comfortable but look pulled together.
I started my collection five years ago with a pair of custom ginger jar loafers (pictured below) and this celebrate pair and the addiction has grown from there. From opulent florals to monograms to this new slingback style called the Carrie that looks great with sundreses, their shoes are beautifully made and long wearing.
I regularly update this page with my Stubbs and Wootton sale finds, and I’m excited to share that the team at Stubbs & Wootton are giving my readers a special code for 20% off full priced items on their site with the code “FriendsofStacie”. The code even works on their custom loafers! (WHAT.) If you’re as big of a fan of these beautiful embroidered loafers as I am, then you know they only go on sale twice a year.
Stubbs and Wootton Loafers are handmade in Spain and run true to size, and I always purchase them in my usual size 8. They elevate any outfit and I especially love wearing them with a pair of cigarette pants, a cashmere sweater and some fun earrings! Such a timeless look whether you’re twenty eight years old or eighty!
