Whether you’re looking to add an investment piece like the perfect riding boots to your own wardrobe, or shopping for holiday gifts like a silk scarf for your mom, this is the moment! I’m highlighting my 5 most worn pairs from Sarah Flint’s collection for today’s post, but if you have been following me for a while you know that most of my shoe collection is Sarah Flint and you can find countless styling and outfit ideas featuring Sarah Flint shoes on my blog here!
I’ve owned and loved the following five styles of Sarah Flint shoes for years, and love each style so much I own each in several colors so these styles are a great place to start if you’re purchasing your first pair. Sarah Flint’s shoes and boots are all handmade in Italy and I’ve had the privilege of visiting the factories several times to see the shoes made in person (see the making of the Natalie flat at the bottom of this post!) The quality of Sarah Flint’s shoes is exceptional – especially for the price – and are made at the same Italian factories top French and Italian luxury fashion houses use for their own shoes. Truly pieces you, or a lucky loved one, will treasure for years to come!
The Perfect Zip Bootie
These “Perfect” Zip Booties come in two heel heights and three colors. I’m wearing the espresso suede 30mm heel above and they are an excellent everyday shoe – comfortable for walking all day yet polished enough to wear to dinner as well. The simple, elegant silhouette means they’re a classic you’ll reach for year after year. I’ve had my espresso brown pair (30mm heel) since they debuted 2 years ago, and they have been everywhere with me, from London to Nantucket! I find they pair perfectly with relaxed jeans, and they’re the best shoe if you’re pregnant and your feet are swelling, as they zip on both sides of the ankle making them easy to get on and off!
The Perfect Pump 85mm
The Perfect Pump 85mm was my first pair of Sarah Flint shoes and instantly made me a believer in her brand. The first day I tried them on I walked 2 miles and didn’t have a single blister when I took them off! Since then, I’ve slowly collected these perfect pumps in black suede, navy suede, espresso suede, and several limited edition fabrics, and have the gunmetal lame on my wishlist as well for the holidays! The perfect pump comes in three heel heights (50mm, 85mm and 100mm) and while I’m partial to the 85mm, I love the sweet look of the kitten heel (50mm) too. These truly are a must in every woman’s wardrobe whether you’re building out your own collection or gifting them for the holidays.
The Riding Boot
Riding boots are a timeless wardrobe essential and this pair from Sarah Flint are perfect in every way – the gorgeous saddle vachetta leather that looks better and better with age, the walk-all-day heel, the elegant equestrian strap and buckle detail at the ankle and the perfect almond toe that elongates your leg. I love love love this boot!
While definitely an investment piece, these riding boots are an item that will be a wardrobe workhorse for years to come. They look fantastic paired with denim, dresses and even mini skirts! I cannot recommend them enough, and if you’re looking for styling ideas you can find my favorite outfits with riding boots here! Sarah Flint offers her riding boot in saddle leather and a gorgeous black leather, and while I wear the saddle most in the fall, come winter I reach for the black more often to pair with tights and mini skirts, or black skinny jeans.
Sacchetto Ballet Flat
The sacchetto ballet flat is my number one go-to shoe and they look darling with everything from jeans to cropped pants to shift dresses. I’ve had my espresso suede pair for 2 years and they have held up so well I recently got them in black and navy too. While I’m recommending versatile neutral options, these pretty flats also come in a rainbow of embellished styles including these fabulous navy jacquard flats with a little sparkle on the button (on sale for $140!), or this handsome glen check pair! It’s worth noting that while all Sarah Flints shoes are comfortable, the sacchetto ballet flat has to be the comfiest shoe of them all.
The 85mm Perfect Sandal
Lastly, the Perfect Sandal 85mm has the same incredibly comfortable features that make Sarah’s pumps so wonderful but in a strappy style perfect for the season’s parties, galas and weddings. I love the 85mm heel height in these as well – just enough lift to create an elegant line, but manageable enough to dance all night! If you need one event shoe that will do it all I recommend snapping these up in the champagne gold hue as your first pair but I also own and love the black!
