I am really ready to embrace all things fall, but with the temperatures still high I’m looking for ways to transition my look without bundling up in heavy layers. One of my favorite ways to do this is with transitional plaids in lighter fabrics that will work for late summer, Labor Day weekend, and beyond!
One of my most worn pieces this summer is this plaid dress from Maxwell & Geraldine, which is as comfortable as a nightgown and currently 30% through tomorrow night! (Tuesday 8/23!) The rich colors remind me of Ralph Lauren at a mountain lodge and will work well through the end of the season and well into fall. Pair with neutral accessories in tan or white plus a classic denim jacket for chilly nights, or even a chunky aran cardigan in navy. Late summer bliss!
