Every few months I do a roundup of outfits I’ve worn on Instagram and this particular edition is well timed since almost everything is on major sale for the holiday weekend!! It’s a great time to round out your summer wardrobes with classic pieces you’ll love this season and for years to come! xx
J.Crew has really hit it out of the park in the dress department this summer. I wore this seersucker dress constantly while traveling in Europe because it felt right for so many destinations and is machine washable making it perfect for long trips. (I’d flat iron the halter straps to ensure a crisp bow when I didn’t have a regular iron on hand. 🙂 It looks amazing with either flat sandals or heels, and especially pretty belted. Runs true to size and currently 40% off for the holiday weekend – such a steal at under $100.
I don’t know why it took so long to try out Sezane, but now I’m hooked. I was worried about their sizing but happened upon one of their stores in Aix-en-Provence and discovered I’m a 36 (J.Crew size 0 for reference). I love their transparent and ethical production practices and easy-to wear styles. This dress is a great length on me with flats (I’m 5’9″) and would be a perfect maxi on shorter girls paired with heels.

This bar cart from Serena & Lily has been my wishlist forever, and when they reached out to me to collaborate I was thrilled. The pictures on their site don’t do it justice – it is so beautifully made and a great size giving you lots of styling and storage options. (It also comes in a smaller version for apartment living!) This weekend they are offering 20% off everything on their site with code “GOCOASTAL” so it’s the perfect time so scoop up any Serena & Lily treasures you’ve been eyeing – everything they make from furniture to bedding is just so good!
Another gem from J.Crew’s collection, this dress is so well made for the price point, which on sale is shockingly under $80. (Just zoom in on the diagonal trim around the straps and neckline – such a nice detail usually found on dresses 4x the price!) The skirt is a lot of fabric so I recommend sizing down. But if you love it hurry – here are only a few left!
If you love all things nautical snap up these striped sailor shorts fast. They’re a timeless piece (and not too short) that you’ll reach for for years to come. I love that they have darker buttons versus the typical gold buttons on sailor pants that makes them much more casual and versatile. Pair with navy or white accessories for an effortless, yet polished look.
It’s always fleece weather in San Francisco, and even if you live in a place with hot summers now is the time to buy a Dudley Stephens fleece because come fall/winter they sell out within minutes of each restock. Dudley Stephens just released their core styles like this park slope turtleneck in an array of patriotic hues for July 4th and I promise you’ll live in them – whether staying warm on a chilly plane or while sailing at sunset.
Another favorite I picked up at Sezane this cotton eyelet dress works on all body types and is made of the softest cotton! Adjustable tie straps make it work whatever your height as well.
White dresses are a no-brainer in summertime and this one is such an elegant silhouette. Like the other maxidress from J.Crew above, the skirt has a lot of fabric so I’d recommend sizing down one size for the best fit. Top with a cropped denim jacket, basket bag and espadrilles for an effortless summer look.
I’m very into the vintage feel of high-waisted bikinis at the moment as they are very flattering and stay put while playing in the waves. (Both pieces are 40% off for the holiday weekend!) Top with a cashmere sweater when the wind picks up.
I love everything from Mehry Mu’s signature cane collection of handbags (remember this post?) and this pretty leather tote (currently 50% off) makes me want to inject more black into my wardrobe. I’m a sucker for matching my shoes to my handbag so these black slingbacks from Everlane made an appearance for a dinner party last week. (The point elongates your leg and they are so comfortable!) This Mestiza top is sold out but I’d love to see them bring it back in an emerald green or navy blue next season!
Wrap dresses are universally flattering and the silky texture and tiered skirt on this one give it a little something extra and make it easy to dress up with bow heels or down with sandals. (FYI – It’s on major sale and there are only a few sizes left!)
While I appreciate Reformation’s ethos, I find their quality is a little hit or miss. This dress was a hit with just heavy enough linen that looks like something from Tory Burch when worn with a belt. (It also looks great with this denim jacket!)
Sandals c/o ($50 off with code “STACIE50”) // Red Bathing Suit // Sunglasses (only 2 left!) // Checked Skirt
Perhaps it stems from my childhood dream of being a lifeguard in high school, but I just love a red bathing suit! This bikini top and matching high-waisted bottom are the same winning silhouette as my seersucker verson. For a more elevated beach look that takes you from swimming to supper snap up this skirt for days spent on – or off the beach.
