WHAT I WORE ON INSTAGRAM – VOL. VIII
I think it’s time for another edition of What I Wore on Instagram! You can always find links to what I’ve worn on Instagram in real time by downloading the LikeToKnow.it app and following me @stacieflinner, or by checking out stacieflinner.com/instagram, yet it seems like you all love this series so it’s worth sharing the information here again. :)
Tattersall Sheet Set c/o (20% off today with code: INSPO) // Southport Duvet & Shams c/o (20% off today with code: INSPO) // Leather Duffle // Small Suitcase c/o // Straw Hat // Pink Espadrilles // Brown Sandals // Checked Dress
Today is the last day of the Serena & Lily sale and I cannot recommend the bedding in our master (by Serena & Lily) enough. This collection never goes on sale, so I bought a second set of sheets as a back up. The blue and white embroidered duvet and shams are timeless, and I love the tattersall plaid on the sheets which wash like a dream and is a great four-season pattern. Use code INSPO for 20% off everything until midnight tonight.
Fringe Dress c/o (30% off with code "STACIEFLINNER") // White Sandals // Pearl Earrings // Sunglasses
This gorgeous backless number from Mestiza was so fun to wear on our trip. The green and blue embroidery is really special and the fringe will make you look great on the dance floor. This dress is perfect for spring break trips and tropical destination weddings alike. Mestiza is one of my favorite brands for special occasion wear, and they are offering my readers 30% their entire order on mestizany.com with code "STACIEFLINNER" through March 31st. This dress is already sold out in a few sizes on their site but you can also find it on Neimans and Saks.
Red Gown c/o (30% off with code "STACIEFLINNER") // My Gold Sandals (Sold out) // Sarah's Perfect Pumps in Gunmetal // Tortoise Clutch c/o
Another favorite from Mestiza, I loved wearing this starburst satin gown to both the Carnival Ball and then again to the Frick Young Supporters Ball last week. There are a few sizes left on their site, and again, you can get 30% off the sale price by using code "STACIEFLINNER". Sarah Flint (looking stunning in a metallic Markarian gown) wore her Perfect Pumps in Gunmetal to the ball and they were so beautiful I'm considering picking up a pair. (Use code "STACIE50" for $50 off.) If you haven't heard me rave about her heels already, you can see my full blog post and review here. Her heels are exceptional comfortable and perfect for parties where you'll be on your feet all night. This acrylic tortoise clutch from J.McLaughlin was a gift when I met with the brand earlier last week, and is so versatile I'm obsessed. I carried it when meeting friends for a drink, and it also worked with a red satin gown for the ball. Everyone asked if it was by Edie Parker (who is known for making acrylic clutches) but this one from J.McLaughlin is less than 1/4 the price!
Sarah Flint Heels c/o // Zimmerman Dress (old, similar) // J.Crew Jacket (green version, black version) // Rocio UK Handbag c/o
I was a fan of Sarah Flint heels before, but now that I've had the chance to meet her and her team I'm even more of a fangirl. (Here's the full post and review of her perfect pumps.) I love the 85mm heel height and couldn't recommend them more. If you decide to buy them please share a photo on Instagram and tag me. (I love it when you guys do that!) You can still use code "STACIE50" for $50 off your order.
Red Dress (Available in Blue, White, Goldenrod) // Straw Bag // Earrings (in Pink!) // Sunglasses // Leather Sandals c/o
I had my eyes on this red eyelet dress by Saloni for a long time, so when I discovered it on sale I had to have it. They make this "Fara" style season after season and it's just an instant classic - perfect for visiting a landmark like Iguazu Falls. I love the goldenrod version as well, especially paired with a tan and white accessories.
Embroidered Shift Dress c/o // Straw hat // Tan Bag c/o // Leather Sandals c/o
I reached for this Sail to Sable dress on the hottest days because it kept me cool and covered when walking in the sun and did not show sweat at. all. (So important when you're traveling in 90 degree heat with 90% humidity!) I wore it our first morning at Iguazu Falls and again in Rio at the end of the trip and I just love the loose shift cut and beautiful eyelet embroidery in navy and jade.
Look 1:White Wrap c/o // White T c/op // Gingham Pants (old, similar) // White Wedges // Tan Bag c/o // Earrings (available in pink) // Sunglasses
Look 2: Boatneck Top c/o // Sunglasses // Bathing Suit (old, similar) // Pearl Earrings // Brown Sandals c/o
Dudley Stephen's collection of stylish fleece clothing might just be the best thing to happen to my airport outfits - ever. The cozy chic pieces are great for staying warm on the plane, then transition well once you've reached your destination: whether you're spending a day out on the water, or heading to an al fresco dinner. I especially love their pieces in terry fleece for warm weather destinations since it's a lighter weight and can serve as a towel in a pinch! David dropped my coral boatneck in the mud and we washed it off with bottled water. They really are "lifeproof"!
My Coat // Cable Sweater // J.Crew Skirt // Tabitha Simmons Flats (similar) // Rocio Purse c/o
The fit of this cashmere cable sweater from Brooks Brother's Red Fleece collection is amazing, and I've worn it countless times over the past several months and it does not pill. I have several cashmere cable sweaters in my collection from different brands and this sweater is the best quality for the best price. Absolutely amazing. Brooks Brother's is having their Spring Wardrobe event right now which means if you buy two pieces you get the third free. I'm going to be stocking up on this sweater in lots of colors so expect a "one in every color" post coming soon! (See the full blog post for this look here.)
