50 Fabulous Labor Day Sale Finds

Labor Day sales are always one of my favorite opportunities to scoop up pieces for the season ahead, and this year there are some especially good finds. I’ve been combing through the sales to pull together the things I think are truly worth buying, from beautiful fall layers, designer dresses and investment-worthy jackets to everyday denim, classic jewelry and a few special pieces for the home. Tuckernuck has quietly added quite a few designer pieces to their sale section, J.Crew is offering 40% off almost everything, and several of my favorite brands are running rare promotions on pieces I own and love. Sizes are already getting spotty, so if something has been sitting on your wishlist, now is a very good time to take another look. Read on for my edit of the very best Labor Day sale finds.

• Tuckernuck has added a bunch of designer pieces to their sale, and while sizes are spotty, the prices are good! A few favorites: a cashmere blend sweater dress in the most gorgeous saddle hue, this Zimmermann caftan for Mediterranean travels this autumn and a bold medallion print swing dress from one of my favorite Italian brands.
• This floral linen midi dress is gorgeous for early fall events or a nice dinner out. The crease-less fabric is a game changer for travel, and I'd pair it with tan suede heels and gold earrings.
• These emerald-cut bezel diamond huggies (20% off!) are the kind of earrings you put on and never take off. The modern setting is sleek enough for everyday yet special enough for a night out. (For a similar vibe, I just got these and they look expensive but are under $70!)
• This adorable plaid car coat is 40% off! Plus it comes in petite, regular and tall.
• I just ordered this solid wood end table for our living room. The raised tray top and warm wood grain give it such a collected, organic feel next to a chair or even a bathtub and the price can't be beat.
• Sarah Flint's handpainted nautical scarf is the kind of heirloom piece you'll treasure forever. The cashmere-silk blend feels incredibly luxurious draped around your neck or over your shoulders, and it is beautiful enough to display as art.
• If you need one perfect oversized button-down, this Italian cotton button-down shirt (size down) is it. I have it in three colors (wearing one above; the stripe I linked is my fav on sale) and it looks incredible tucked into trousers, layered under a blazer, or worn over my favorite white denim shorts (also on sale)!
• I love the retro charm of this chestnut pointelle henley from Boden. The warm color is perfect for early fall layered under a blazer, or worn on its own with high-waisted trousers and loafers.
• Practical and polished, this handsome tattersall field jacket is one I bought a few years ago, and I’m so glad they brought it back! It's a favorite layering piece I'll be living in this fall. Great over a simple knit and these jeans.
• Veronica Beard makes such special jackets and a few of my perfect-for-fall favorites are on sale, including this eyelet jacket, this embroidered jacket and this plaid blazer!
• My favorite active tennis dress is 40% off right now! It's so flattering and has a built-in short that’s detached in the back so you can go to the bathroom without taking off the dress. I also just got this preppy embroidered polo and skort which are so cute!
• The curved silhouette on this suede shoulder bag is so elegant. The rich green hue is unexpected but incredibly versatile for fall.
• J.Crew has 40% off almost everything and a few favorite finds include this cable knit tube top for under blazers or with this matching cardigan, and I got this two-tone bucket bag and it looks so expensive but is only $106!
• If you need a perfect pair of everyday jeans under $100, I have two great options for you. These high-rise straight-leg jeans (15% off with STACIE15) are incredibly flattering. The super-stretch denim is comfortable all day, but doesn't look like stretch denim. (Brilliant!) These slim wide-legs are just as comfortable, and both pair well with sneakers, loafers, ballet flats or boots.
• Chic and timeless, this canvas tote with navy straps is the kind of bag that works for everything from errands to travel days. I never see these on sale, so run!
• Every jewelry collection needs a classic tennis bracelet, and this one delivers serious sparkle. Stack with a watch or wear solo for a clean, timeless look that goes with absolutely everything.
• Made in Italy from wool-cashmere, this belted cardigan in sand is incredibly elegant. The mock neck and longline fit make it perfect layered over a slip dress or paired with tailored trousers or the jeans above.
• Nour Hammour is one of the most glamorous emerging brands and their sale section of autumnal pieces is drool-worthy. I have a suede skirt from them (seen here) and have had this cropped cognac leather jacket and this red suede barn jacket on my wishlist.
• Little adventurers will live in this green waxed jacket, which gives major mini Barbour vibes. Perfect for apple picking, park days, and all those fall activities ahead, especially when paired with a classic rugby shirt.
• Cozy weekends deserve this plaid flannel shirt in the prettiest warm-toned plaid. I love wearing it under a wrap cardigan or over a thin cashmere turtleneck.
• This burgundy floral silk kaftan (seen here) is a showstopper for fall weddings, or events any time of year due to the mix of moody and bright colors.

• I found two of my favorite investment-worthy blazers on sale, in silk and wool or burgundy corduroy. Throw either over a white tee and jeans for instant polish, or pair with trousers for a fall dinner out.
• It's hard to find 100% organic cotton pajamas, so when I discovered this long PJ set I was thrilled! They also come in the cutest embroidered apple-picking pattern in a long pajama set or a shorts set. My son loves when I wear this whimsical mermaid embroidered set.
• A navy striped cotton sweater is one of those pieces you'll wear on repeat. I love this one with white jeans now and layered over a collared shirt with dark denim come October.
• I've had my eye on this wood accent mirror with its gorgeous bobbin frame. It would look stunning in an entryway, over a console table, or in a bedroom. The dark wood tone is so warm and classic.
• Madewell's woven leather tote is roomy enough for your laptop and looks so much more expensive than it is. The natural leather gets better with age. Great for work, travel, and everything in between.
• Nothing elevates your everyday look quite like a pair of emerald-cut diamond studs. They go with everything and make even a jeans-and-tee day feel finished.
