Knee high boots and a thick wool mini is one of my favorite fall outfit formulas. Whether you go with a statement plaid or something more neutral this pairing always looks great with a chunky knit. Throw on your trusty Barbour or perhaps a wrap coat when the temperatures dip!
I love the unexpected look of a tweedy cocktail dress (for example [product_link id="52274" text=this gold number"" item="Alice And Olivia Clyde Metallic Tweed A-Line Minidress"], or this rosy option!) both of which look fabulous with tights and a chunky heel or pointed toe boot! If you want a longer sleeve this embroidered dress is stunning!
There are so many handsome fair isle options available this season, and I love this sweater paired with a great pair of denim (I'm obsessed with these jeans) and black boots. (This is also fab!)
I'm also on a sweater dress kick for their effortless style and comfort and this flared fair isle dress would be fabulous with my knee high boots. For a more neutral option I love the shape of this one, which can be an everyday workhorse, or you can dress up with heels (perhaps these?!) for a special event.
