Everything I Packed for a Week in London & The Cotswolds

Heading to London and the Cotswolds at Christmastime calls for a suitcase filled with festive sparkle, cozy layers, and timeless classics—and this year, nearly everything I packed is on major Black Friday sale. From party-ready pieces for evenings out to the everyday staples I reach for all winter long, I managed to fit it all into one 30-inch checked bag and my carry-on. Of course, I pack more than most would, since I'm a fashion blogger, but I like to feature a variety of styles so there is something for everyone! So whether you're prepping for your own holiday getaway or simply looking to refresh your wardrobe while the deals are unbeatable, here’s everything I brought with me for a magical week in England.

Dresses

  • A show-stopping little black dress for my fanciest evening out.
  • This wrap sweater dress will make you feel like a million bucks, and also keep you warm!
  • This shimmery deep red cocktail dress looks so much more expensive than it's price tag.
  • I'm obsessed with this gold jacquard dress, but be forewarned, it's a big splurge!
  • This easy and affordable cranberry sweater dress looks amazing with knee high boots, a pendant necklace and a cashmere-silk scarf.
  • This paisley print silk maxi dress has a coordinating scarf you can tie at your hips. I love the black and burgundy print now through the new year.

Coats

  • This coat is the perfect deep red hue, and looks amazing with everything from jeans to sequined cocktail attire.
  • This black wool coat is insanely beautiful, especially for the price. It's wool but feels like cashmere, and has a great cut that works well with everything from chunky knitwear to cocktail dresses. I ordered my normal, larger size to ensure there's room for layers.
  • This cream colored coat wasn't in the packing video because I just bought it in London but it's so good! Available in Petite and tall, but it's definitely oversizes so girls 5'9" and under will likely want the petite version I linked!
  • A camel wrap coat is as classic as it gets, mine is old Brooks Brothers but this coat is almost identical with a slightly richer hue.
  • The plaid on this barn jacket is just beautiful. Can't wait to wear it on country walks in the Cotswolds!

Blazers & Vests

  • This black boucle blazer looks like a vintage Chanel find and is on major sale for under $400.
  • This feather vest is crazy warm and great for layering. Plus it feels festive and is as light as air. You can get the look for less with this faux fur vest.
  • I've had this patchwork blazer for years and love it's whimsical appeal, similar look here.

Sweaters

  • This black sequin cardigan is a must in every woman's wardrobe. Just the thing to add festive flair without being too over the top, it looks great with jeans, a mini skirt, cream trousers or a satin maxi!
  • Solid turtlenecks are a winter staple and I packed two favorites: this in olive and this in warm sand!
  • This cashmere cable knit is iconic and one of my favorite pieces to wear on the plane. It looks good over a collared shirt or tie it over your shoulders to have on hand when the plane gets chilly.
  • This red fair isle turtleneck is the perfect Christmas sweater. Wear it to chop down the tree, ski, or shop around Mayfair. It's perfect!
  • This blush short sleeve tee has a great easy shape for wearing with high waisted pants. Same goes for this beaded cashmere tee.
  • This berry toned fair isle sweater is an amazing price and slim fitting making it perfect for layering under blazers.
  • This chunky fair isle cardigan has subtle metallic threads at the yoke and is perfect for a pub dinner. (Size down.)

Tops

  • Almost gone, but I love the easy fit and relaxed drape of this top . (Brought the matching trousers too, which have better stock.)
  • I never leave home without two of this white oxford shirt . It looks amazing tucked into jeans on it's own or layered under sweaters.
  • This berry colored silk blouse in a wonderfully flattering cut can be layered under sweaters/blazers or worn on it's own.

Pants & Skirts

  • These cream trousers are hands down the classiest pants I own. They're properly high waisted, perfectly opaque, and a great companion to all of the season's festive tops. They run long, so petite gals will want to have them hemmed, but you'll have them in your wardrobe forever. I ordered my larger normal size, as I always do with white/cream pants!
  • These black jeans are super comfortable and flattering. I wear them with black pointed toe boots (linked below) and this combo instantly makes you look 3 inches taller!
  • Sequined trousers are a holiday staple and these have the perfect cut, a smooth side zip, stretchy fabric and ultra flattering! Pair them with almost any top for an easy festive look.
  • I love the cascading ruffles on this burgundy maxi skirt. Pair with knee high boots for a chic yet warm look.
  • Brocade trousers are a favorite evening option and these feature the loveliest burgundy, navy and green hues that will go with so many tops in your wardrobe.
  • I wear these classic relaxed jeans so often I bought a second pair. Fits like a glove and comfortable enough to wear on a transatlantic flight!

Bags

  • If I could only choose one evening bag to carry the rest of my life it would be this black satin clutch.
  • This little woven leather crossbody is an elevated everyday staple. I have it in a limited edition brown called Nocciola.
  • This little black suede handbag has been my MVP recently. It fits more than you'd expect and looks great with casual or dressier looks.
  • This green tote is one of my favorite bags of all time. It holds a ton and is lined in cashmere! I pack it in it's dustbag and slip it into this XL tote as my personal item on the flight.
  • This little black satin clutch from one of my favorite small handbag brands goes with absolutely everything.
  • This brown suede hobo bag carries a ton and lays close to your side, a fabulous travel bag!
  • This little leopard clutch is the perfect size and looks way more expensive than it is.
  • This little fabric evening bag is a brilliant travel companion. It's crushable and takes up almost zero space in your luggage.

Shoes

  • These embellished black slingback flats flats are super walkable yet still festive and fun! (Size down 1/2 size.)
  • Wore these ballet flats as my travel day shoe right out of the box and they are so comfortable. I love the slightly squared off toe which adds a contemporary look to a timeless silhouette!
  • These lamé pumps are such a fun holiday take on my favorite heel. (I own them in 7 colors and can wall all day in them!)
  • Of course I had to bring these iconic velvet Hangisis!
  • These gold strappy sandals look amazing with any cocktail dress and have the sex appeal of a stiletto but loads of hidden comfort features like extra padding in the sole and amazing arch support.
  • These black heeled boots are great outfit multitaskers. Pair with skirts of almost any length and tights for a bit of warmth, and they also look amazing under wide leg trousers. I've been walking all over London in them and they are so comfy!
  • I have been wearing these booties non-stop since they arrived. Just the thing to wear with relaxed denim and a big cozy sweater! (Run true to size, I have the saddle calf.)
  • These green velvet loafers are embroidered with a beautiful Gracie botanical. They feel holiday but can be worn all winter long.
  • These shearling lined slippers are perfect for wearing down to the hotel's breakfast room.

Loungewear

  • I love wearing kit loungewear sets while hanging out in our hotel room. They're so cozy, comfortable and you look respectable when hotel staff drop off your room service! This cashmere sweater and pants set are on sale for under $300, and this red set is gorgeous and festive for the holidays.
  • Favorite new bras (so comfortable!) and organic cotton panties of course!

Accessories

  • I am a cashmere-silk scarf fanatic, and bring several when I travel. The added warmth and pattern they give to any outfit is a favorite styling trick, and I packed this, this, and this for England!
  • Plaid scarves are also travel essentials this time of year and I brought this green one (pricey but exceptional) and bought this one in London!

Jewelry

  • This pavé diamond ring has become part of my everyday jewelry. It's so comfortable to wear and I love how it looks on my pointer finger.
  • These emerald-cut white sapphire earrings make a statement whether you pair them with a turtleneck or cocktail dress.
  • I always travel with a little jewelry catchall like this. It's the perfect landing spot when you take off your gems at night, without a worry they'll roll of the nightstand. Plus, it unsnaps to lay flat in your luggage and takes up zero space!
  • These 4-ct. diamond studs are practically glued to my ears. The backing is super secure, so you don't have to worry about loosing them.
  • I love wearing this pendant necklace to brighten solid colored sweaters and dresses.
  • These sparkling earrings feel like a vintage find.

Beauty

  • These travel capsules make carrying your favorite liquids easy, leakproof and crazy chic! I love how they fit perfectly into this toiletry bag.
  • Love that this hair flatiron is dual voltage so I can bring my everyday hair hero anywhere! (I also swear by this airewrap, but it isn't dual voltage.)
  • I normally am very intentional about eating 30 different plants each week to maximize my nutrients, but during travel eating enough fruits and veggies is much harder. These AG1 travel packs are a total lifesaver, packing in probiotics, superfoods, and antioxidants into one delicious glass of green juice that I take every day while traveling. Similarly, I love their sleep support travel packs which taste like hot chocolate and I'm convinced they help me get over jet lag faster.
  • And of course I bring all of my everyday makeup, in this cute monogrammed travel pouch (makes a great gift!)
