June’s Best Finds Under $250

Summer style should feel easy: a breezy dress you can throw on for the farmers market or dinner by the water, polished sandals that go from beach to lunch, a straw bag you reach for every day, and a few charming extras that make the season feel special. I’m always looking for pieces that feel elevated without being precious, so I pulled together my favorite summer finds under $250 — from embroidered dresses and shell jewelry to raffia totes, striped separates, pretty glassware, and travel essentials that earn their place in every suitcase.

  • This breezy, shell-embroidered maxi dress is giving coastal charm all summer long. The smocked waist is so flattering, and I'd style it with simple T-strap sandals (15% off with STACIE15) (just restocked!) and a straw tote for farmers market mornings or seaside dinners.
  • Is it even summer if you aren't wearing at least one piece of shell jewelry? These nautilus earrings remind me of Seaman Schepps for a fraction of the price. (I also love this nautilus pendant
  • Wrap this printed cotton pareo (15% off with STACIE15) as a skirt over your swimsuit by day, and pair with a crisp button-down for evening. It's one of those pieces that earns its place in every suitcase.
  • I discovered a crazy buy more, save more sale on some of my go-to makeup and skincare brands (20-30% off!) and just restocked a bunch of my favorites. I reordered this body lotion, this scrub, this body oil which gives you glowy supermodel legs, and this hand lotion (my fav hostess gift) as well as a bunch of my everyday makeup from RMS Beauty. (My everyday makeup routine with products can be found here.) I haven't seen a sale this good since Black Friday.
  • Just a touch more expensive than $250, but I had to mention that my favorite wrap sandals just launched in the loveliest ivory leather. I have them in gold and trust me, these go with EVERYTHING.
  • I love the embroidered floral detail on this white linen mini dress from J.Crew. It's the easiest throw-on-and-go piece for beach cover-up duty, casual dinners, or weekend exploring with flat sandals.
  • Cheesecloth is such an odd name for one of the softest, dreamiest summer fabrics, but I urge you to consider this pair of cheescloth wide-leg pants and matching top. So chic on their own, topped off with this bucket hat, or with a striped sweater over your shoulders.
  • The neckline of this swimsuit is so flattering, and I'd pair it with this poppy red wrap skirt for a look that works from the beach to lobster rolls on the water.
  • I just got these packing cubes for keeping my sons things organized on trips this summer - they're perfect for keeping tiny clothes all in one place and under $60 for the set.
  • If you love the look of French bistro glassware, these charming wine glasses are a must for summer entertaining. I've had my eye on similar set from Ralph Lauren, but jumped on these when a friend had them on her table and I learned they are under $9 each. Timeless and elegant, and they work beautifully for wine, water, or a spritz on the patio.
  • I scooped up this sweet wicker basket bag during the Fenimore Design Summit in CT. I admittedly have loads of straw and wicker bags, but I love the Jane Birkin-sinspired shape that goes with everything, and that it's a much darker wicker than my other bags.
  • Every summer wardrobe needs a pair of sleek leather flip flops and these are the best. The glossy patent finish looks polished enough for a sundress while still being your everyday beach-to-lunch sandal. I keep mine by my front door and wear them daily - and the leather is so soft no breaking in required.
  • Jenni Kayne's raffia tote is the kind of effortless summer bag you'll reach for every single day. The open knit gives it such a relaxed feel, reminiscent of The Row. Perfect with a sundress and sandals for beach town weekends, or it also carries a laptop if you must.
  • I mentioned how much I love this athletic dress a couple weeks ago and just snapped it up in a second color. Tennis dresses with built-in shorts can have a funny fit, but these have the shorts attached in the front for a smooth silhouette, but they're not attached in the back so there's great freedom of movement.
  • The angular piece on this asymmetric leather belt elongates your figure and adds polish to any pair of high waisted pants or fit-and-flare dress.
  • If you're looking for an alternative to jeans this summer, consider these blue striped wide-leg cotton pants are the kind of piece that makes getting dressed feel exciting. Style with my favorite white tank (15% off with stacie15) or navysailor collar top and the flip-flops above for an effortless look that works from brunch to boardwalk.
  • A beaded tote that looks so chic slung over your shoulder at the beach or the farmers market. I love the textural detail, you'll be surprised how it seems to go with everything. (Only 5 left!)
  • Tory Burch's iconic tunic is a preppy classic that never goes out of style. Finally on sale for under $200, it's a piece you'll reach for again and again, whether you're on Nantucket or Capri.
  • I have two pairs of these iconic boat shoes, one for our boat and the other for summer's messier adventures as you can hose them down and they dry out in less than a day!
  • This chocolate brown knit midi dress has such a beautiful drape and feels elevated for a knit. I'd wear it with gold hoops and leather sandals for date night, or a denim jacket for cooler evenings.
  • The marigold block print on this cotton midi dress is absolutely gorgeous. The smocked bodice and spaghetti straps make it easy and flattering. I'd pair with gold earrings and flat sandals for a summer wedding or garden party.
  • For hands-free sun protection, a raffia visor is my go-to. It provides sun protection for your face and neck, while still giving your hair sun-kissed highlights. (I wore regular hats last summer and my hair was noticeably darker than in years past!) And it looks chic with everything from a swimsuit to a casual summer dress, though honestly I reach for my visor the most while gardening.
  • I take so many more pictures during the summer, and a beautiful desktop frame is the perfect way to relive cherished memories, especially when the photo is black and white. (Would make a fabulous Father's Day gift as well.
  • These cute blue striped espadrilles are perfect with white jeans, a sundress, or linen shorts all summer long. Plus they're crazy comfortable and have such a chic almond toe!
  • Ann Mashburn's navy gingham popover is the relaxed summer shirt I reach for constantly. Tuck it into shorts, leave it loose over a swimsuit, or layer under a blazer when it cools down.
  • Effortlessly French, this striped linen boatneck tee pairs beautifully with navy trousers, denim cutoffs, or a white skirt. A breezy staple you'll wear on repeat all season.
  • I saw this super cute seersucker set (top here, shorts here) at the Fenimore Design Summit this past weekend and had to have them. Just the thing to wear while running after my toddler or watering the garden this summer.
  • If you're in need of new luggage my friend has this set (carry-on and checked bag) and you won't believe the prices. The carry-on got the Wirecutter Award for 2025 and the checked bag only weighs 10.2 pounds, which means more of your luggage weight allowance can go towards what you're actually packing.
  • Dôen's gorgeous red gingham blouse has the prettiest puff sleeves and gathered neckline. Tuck it into high-waisted jeans for a day around town or let it flow over a bikini and my favorite white cut-off shorts (size up) for a day at the beach.
  • This air styler is my shortcut to an at-home blowout. It dries and styles in one step for that smooth salon finish — without the heat damage of a traditional hot tool. I used to have TWO (!) Dyson airwraps so I could have one for home and another when traveling abroad, but this styler is dual voltage and a total game changer. I brought it to Italy last month and it's worth every penny. Currently up to 30% off as a part of Bluemercury's big summer party sale!
