Can you tell I'm deliriously happy to be back on Capri? It's a tradition to book a table at Panorama on our first night (views of Vesuvius and the most amazing pizza) and I pulled out this gorgeous red linen dress for the occasion. There's something about RED that just makes you look and feel alive - even if you're massively jet-lagged. It's such a mood booster, and whether you're looking forward to Memorial weekend barbecues or planning your own European adventure, red is always right.
Below I've rounded up my favorite red pieces for summer adventures at home or abroad!
- OK, really this red linen dress is so good. The vertical seams elongate your figure and the godets in the skirt give it the loveliest flare. It hits right above the ankle which works with heels or sandals and the little self belt has a pretty gold buckle for a little added sparkle. I've been waiting to wear these stunning celestial earrings and they were perfect for dressing up this red dress!
- I packed this red embroidered top for Italy and it is chic chic chic with white shorts and minimalist sandals. (Would look so elegant with white trousers as well!)
- If you only want a little pop of red, these slingback flats are a gorgeous accent to your outfits.
- This dress is a year-round favorite and universally flattering. The silhouette works for everything from work presentations to an afternoon gallery hopping!
- You probably already have a blue and white breton tee, but what about a red and white one? Looks brilliant with denim, skirts, bathing suits, shorts, you name it!
- The seams on this red floral sundress are so beautiful, and I love the super soft cotton. (Currently on sale for under $100!)
- Nothing is easier than a t-shirt dress, and the side tie on this one nips you in at the waist. Pair with this striped tote for an easy summer look!
- I'm obsessed with bucket hats for shading my face from the sun and this little red number adds interest to even the simplest tee and shorts look.
- This silk floral maxi dress perfectly balances a bold print with a deep v neckline and a gorgeous full skirt. Perfect for evening events when the temperature might dip.
- Red pants are an easy way to wear a pop of color, just style with a crisp white shirt or sweater and your favorite neutral accessories.
- A perfect option for cool evenings, the mod stripes set this knit dress apart.
- This top and pants combo are showstoppers, and look equally chic worn together or styled with other separates.
- This swingy shirtdress is one of Tuckernuck's bestsellers for a reason. Dress it up or dress it down, the easy silhouette looks great with white sneakers, heels and everything in between.
- This glam cocktail dress has pretty hardware and a sleek shape.
- This swimsuit has major Baywatch vibes, and I'm all for it.
- Slip into this little striped shift dress and sling this red bag over your arm.
- This cherry-red sailor-inspired short sleeve sweater is gorgeous and perfect for long holiday weekends spent by the water. (Also love the sailor styling on this knit dress!)
- This petite straw bag is a lovely nantucket red and is just big enough to hold the essentials at dinner.
- I own and love these mary jane espadrilles in black, but the red version is super chic too!
