The Olive Edit

Olive is having a moment this fall, and I’m here for it. Whether you’re reaching for a soft wool coat, a structured leather bag, or a shimmery party dress, there’s something about this rich, versatile hue that just works. Casual or dressy, these olive pieces will keep you looking pulled together all season long.

  • This fab twill midi skirt is one of the most versatile pieces you can have in your wardrobe - perfect for year-round wear. I own it two colors and am always on the lookout for more. It works beautifully with shirts and sweaters, belted or unbelted, and with flats, heels or boots. Trust me, you need one of these skirts! (The sweater I'm wearing above is old Ralph Lauren Collection, but this one has a similarly colorful fair isle.
  • I just ordered this insanely beautiful beaded satin top for a special dinner later this month. It's my first time ordering from the brand so fingers crossed it fits! I plan to wear with black tapered trousers and heels.
  • While perusing their site, this cashmere bow top and matching knit skirt also caught my eye.
  • This fringe-y top is so chic, and would look great over leather pants (15% off with "stacie15") or these olive corduroy pants.
  • Get Emilia Wickstead vibes for a fraction of the cost with this pear green brocade skirt or stunning strapless gown.
  • This olive suede dress is beyond stunning, and can be worn open over this turtleneck as a trench style jacket at well with these jeans. Love!
  • This wrap silk dress has been the #1 bestseller for the last 6 weeks. Whether you wear it with flats or heels, it's classic and cool at the same time. The print features so many colors you can created a myriad of looks by swapping around your accessories and coats. I was shopping for bags when I last wore this dress, and every bag looked good with it, from this to this to this!
  • I got this leather tote on my NYC trip last month and it's insanely beautiful. The hardware is minimal but gorgeous, I love the exact shade of green and it's lined in cashmere!?! I find I'm reaching for it constantly, as it looks great with the silk dress above, this casual fair isle sweater and jeans, and this sweater dress. For a similar look at a fraction of the price I love this bag.
  • This plaid bow neck blouse is living rent free in my head. It would be perfect tucked into these jeans (15% off with "stacie15"), these boots (I just got them and LOVE!) and this wool coat in olive. Yum!
  • As velvet season approaches there are so many gorgeous options. I love the idea of pairing this olive velvet dress with this fun clutch for an evening at the ballet or a holiday party.
  • I just refreshed some of my t-shirts and this one is a fabulous cross between a tee and a sweatshirt that's perfect for this time of year. Incredibly soft and cozy, and a medium weight knit, I especially like the sage striped version and will be wearing it for dog walks, baking sessions, and running around with my toddler.
  • An olive jacket can elevate anything from a tee and jeans to a slip dress, and this bouclé lady jacket and this suede jacket are two standouts this season.
  • I tried this tweed coat on in NYC and can't stop thinking about it. They only had one in store that was three sizes too big, but they have loads of sizes online. Be warned, it's a splurge!
  • Green button ups look chic under your wooly blazers, and two favorites include this green corduroy shirt and this plaid version.
  • A plaid ruana is an unsung wardrobe hero this time of year. I love that one layered over a cashmere turtleneck like this with jeans. But whether you throw it over casual or dressy looks, ruanas add a festive layer of warmth to your look. There are so many colors to choose from, and you can see how I styled mine (which is several years old) here.
  • This corduroy dress is a versatile piece that can take you from the office to dinner with ease.
  • I just ordered these olive suede gloves to wear with my camel wrap coat this fall. The fingertips have a tech-friendly finish so you can use your phone while staying warm. I love how they look with this plaid scarf which is the softest thing ever. (Or this floral scarf which I mistook for a piece from Etro, but it's a steal!)
  • This blazer is going fast but I love the color combination and preppy plaid. Would look fabulous with this mushroom leather tote.
  • I love this olive fair isle turtleneck, pair with this olive midi skirt (a personal favorite!), a belt, and heeled brown boots.
