The Winter Pieces I’m Most Excited to Wear
This winter, I’m leaning into the pieces that make everyday dressing feel both effortless and special. From cozy coats that pull any outfit together and festive Fair Isle knits that add a touch of charm, to the boots and bags I reach for on repeat, these are the staples I’m genuinely excited to wear all season long. Think timeless silhouettes, beautiful textures, and practical pieces that still feel considered. The kind of wardrobe essentials that make getting dressed on a cold winter morning something to look forward to.
Fair Isle Sweaters - I love fair isle for the holidays and throughout the winter. They add a little interest to casual and evening looks and often frame your face beautifully. The cardigan I'm wearing above is a little oversized and great for layering (green is going fast but love the cream version too!) I also own and love this navy cashmere cardigan (15% off with "STACIE15"), which is pretty cropped but works great with high waisted jeans like these. I just ordered this tan cashmere fair isle mockneck and matching scarf (!) and am obsessed with it, and I got this sweater for David too.
Good Boots - I have been loving, LOVING, these downtown boots since I got them. They've got a elongating toe, and comfortable heel. Similarly, I've been reaching for these knee-high boots nonstop, and have my fingers crossed that they'll come out in a chocolate suede next season because they go with everything (I especially like them with these black jeans)! These shearling boots just launched last week and they are just the thing I needed in my wardrobe, a feminine lace-up style that can handle icy sidewalks and still look chic.
Fine Jewelry for Everyday - I love how fine jewelry sparkles against winter's rich hues and luxurious textures, and beautiful everyday pieces like classic diamond studs (on sale!) or a meaningful ring (get $100 off $500+ orders with "GIFTFROMSTACIE") elevate any outfit, from your pilates uniform to cocktail attire. You can find my most-worn pieces here.
Turtlenecks - A wool or cashmere turtleneck is like a sweater and scarf in one. I love a thin turtleneck for layering, this relaxed turtleneck (a favorite I own in several colors, get 15% off with "STACIE15"!) for pairing with jeans, and this super luxe version that looks amazing with anything from leggings to leather pants.
Smart Coats - Bundling up all winter means coats are your wardrobe workhorses, and the first impression you give to the outside world. Since it's so cold in New Hampshire I have quite the collection, and a few recent favorites include this winter white coat, this garnet wool coat (looks so good dressed up or down), this checked coat, this shawl collar coat (I have the burgundy, but love all the colors!), and this black coat that works especially well with evening looks.
Bags - I invested in a few special bags this year and they've really filled some holes in my collection. This small andiamo bag is such a beautiful everyday bag, the craftsmanship is exquisite and it's just the right size for daily essentials. (I have the Nocciola). This tote (seen above) is a great size and design for days when you need to bring all the things with you. I got this shearling clutch last year, and it's so deep winter and specific but I love it. (Year-round version here.) This satin clutch has been my plus one for fancy nights out. It goes with everything!
Loungewear - Now that it's so cold at home (in the 20s all week!) I love bundling up in cozy lounge sets and shearling slippers. My most-used loungewear includes this and this ($50 off either set with "Stacie50") and this tank, cardigan, and pants set. I'll wear any of them with these or these.
