If there’s one thing I enjoy even more than preparing a healthy and delicious meal it’s setting a beautiful table. As an obsessive collector of glassware and china patterns, antique silver, textiles and objets, I love nothing more than designing a beautiful tablescape that can transform an everyday dinner into something special. So when Sarah Flint asked me to photograph her debut collection of table linens I jumped at the chance to pull out all the good stuff. I had so much fun styling and photographing these tables for Sarah Flint’s first foray into home decor and couldn’t wait to share these images with you!
Inspired by vintage French textiles, these hand-painted designs by Sarah are something truly unique and will make every meal just a little more special. The rich floral designs work equally well with simple white plates or more ornate designs. Whether you’re hosting an intimate family dinner or an over-the-top birthday bash at home, Sarah’s linens are a wonderful foundation for your special event. The 100 percent cotton tablecloths, runners, napkins, and placemats are all made in Tuscany by a family-owned textile mill known for their exceptional attention to detail. It was so fun visiting the mill and seeing the earliest samples on our trip to Italy last May, then now bringing them into my home to enjoy this fall. The Green Jardin Floral has been my personal favorite and a mainstay in our dining room for weeks. (Updated, I even used it as the foundation of our first Thanksgiving in our new home.)
