Happy Saturday! It has been several months since my last “What I Wore on Instagram” post, so I thought today was the perfect time to put one together since almost everything is on sale right now. I’ve linked my favorite cozy sweaters, coats, scarves, and boots from my wardrobe below to get you through the last few months of winter!
This scarf was the hero piece of our Vermont trip. I went well with every jacket I brought and who doesn’t love blue and white stripes? It pairs so well with this sweater in a thicker rugby stripe looks good on everyone and just came back in stock.
San Francisco has had a ton of rain this past week, and the silver lining has been I’ve gotten a lot of use out of this checkered cape! I wore it yesterday to meet my friend Hannah for lunch at La Bande and was surprised how many compliments I got – especially from men! It’s certainly an eye-cathing piece, and one I’ve had on my wishlist for a long time. It’s an investment even when on sale but the classic check and beautiful construction means it will be in heavy rotation for years so come!
This coat is so cute and cozy, I reach for it constantly. Sold out on J.Crew’s site but available in all sizes here. I always get a bunch of questions about these boots, and they are only $45 from Amazon!
Tory Burch’s new sport collection and this fair isle ski sweater and matching fair isle beanie arrived just in time for our Vermont trip. They are both so thick and warm without being cumbersome or itchy and I love the slightly retro cut of the sweater. This set is bound to be a classic!
A sweater + mini skirt + over the knee boots combination is always one of my favorites! This bag is my most worn item of the year (original blog post here) and I just discovered it in the most beautiful blue color for 60% off here!
This cable knit cashmere sweater is like a cloud and a beautiful blush shade. It looks equally pretty styled with jeans and loafers or a wool mini skirt (only $40!) and over the knee boots!
This gorgeous cape is 50% off right now and available in the burgundy version I own and an elegant black version too. I love pairing it with a turtleneck in the same color for a modern take on a twinset.
I got this tartan coat in London last year and bring it out on the coldest days. It’s made by Gloverall, the company that invented the duffle coat for the Navy to keep sailors warm, and it really does keep out the cold while still looking stylish. Plus, the toggle closures were designed to be easy to do and undo with mittened hands.
Another great coat that I’ve had for several seasons is this tweed topcoat. It has so many different colors woven into the material and therefore coordinates with lots of items in my closet.
Hope you’re staying warm this weekend, and thanks as always for reading!
xx, SF
These outfits are all super duper cute! I particularly like the green one and the one with the cape! Not styles you see all too often! (and I’m a sucker for scallops!)
