Breezy Beach Outfit Formulas
Summer beach days call for easy styles that look equally chic on the sand as they do at an al fresco lunch spot. I love styling my swimwear with pieces from my closet that allow me to transition from the water to a meal out effortlessly. From stylish coverups to hats that hide wet hair (and provide much needed sun protection!) I'm sharing my favorite beach day outfit formulas and a roundup of go-to pieces for a day by the water below!
- This bikini has the coverage and stay-put effect of a one piece while showing a tiny bit more skin. I love the slightly retro silhouette and buttons at the front and love styling it with white linen, whether it's tying a linen top at the waist like I did above, or wearing it with a top and shorts as seen here!
- Forever my favorite swimsuit shape, this U-front bandeau swimsuit is chic chic chic and very flatting on small chested gals. (Eres is pricey but the quality is worth it in my opinion, but you can get the look for less here!)
- A one piece suit + pareo is a classic combination and Agua by Agua Bendita makes some of the most beautiful pareos around. My friend Sarah was wearing this tank suit in Italy and it was so timeless and has an amazing figure smoothing fabric I'm eager to try myself.
- A bikini is a summer staple, and I like wearing mine paired with a cotton sweater for a little more coverage. Add a sweater with some pattern to zhush up solid swimwear or pick a solid sweater to complement patterned suits. I personally love a popover style letting your bikini bottoms show or a long cardigan like I did here!
- Wear a crochet dress over a solid color swimsuit for an easy lunch look!
