There’s something undeniably chic about red, especially this time of year. From cocktail dresses made for winter soirées to cozy knits that feel just as chic styled casually, these are the standout red pieces worth wearing now through Valentine’s Day and far into the season ahead. Whether you lean bold and statement-making or prefer a subtle pop of color, this edit proves that red is surprisingly versatile, endlessly flattering, and always a little bit festive.
- Jimmy Choo's iconic bing heels come in a beautiful array of colors and heel heights, and I couldn't resist these red velvet pumps to match my favorite Christmas dress. They're the highest heels I own, but surprisingly easy to walk in. I love how they look like fabulous jewelry for your feet. (Other Bing heel heights and styles here, all with their signature rhinestone strap.)
- My dress above is several years old, but this season Emilia Wickstead has two incredible red velvet dresses including this and this. I always wear mine a handful of times during the Christmas season and feel like a classy Mrs. Claus. (They made a gold dress with a very similar silhouette to mine as well.)
- The dress above looks fabulous with some of my favorite jewelry, including this diamond heart necklace (can be set with any birthstone!) and my diamond birthstone ring! (Both are 25% off, plus $100 off orders over $500 with "GIFTFROMSTACIE".) In years past, I've worn it with my garnet Warren pendant necklace as well. Any of them make amazing Christmas gifts, and can still be ordered for delivery before Christmas!
- This cashmere wrap is under $100 and comes in a rainbow of hues, but the red is especially lovely. Perfect for throwing on over a cocktail dress on chilly nights.
- I have this skirt in a burgundy plaid (seen here), but love the lipstick red version which can be dressed up for holiday parties with a sparkly top, while also working for the office with a crisp button up shirt.
- Sparkling accessories offer the finishing touch to any red ensemble. I'm eyeing a few pieces to finish off my holiday looks, like this barrette, this stunning brooch, and this hairpin for a bun!
- This red cable knit sweater is delicious, and I love how opulent it looks to wear one and tie a second around your shoulders like they did on the model. So chic! (I wore mine to cut down our tree, seen here.) This red coat is a perfect match to up the festive feeling!
- I have owned these red needlepoint loafers for almost five years and they hold up so well and add preppy charm to my uniform of a sweater plus jeans. (I also own and love this needlepoint tote in the same pattern!)
- I got these red jammies for Christmas morning a few years ago and love them so much I ended up buying them in multiple colors. I love that they have menswear styling but are made of the comfiest cotton knit!
- This lightweight quilted jacket is the perfect throw-on-and-go piece for coffee dates, school pickup, winter hikes and more!
- This cashmere knit top and skirt set is so fabulous. I'm thinking of wearing mine to Christmas dinner at my parent's place. (And it's 50% off?!)
- For a casual sweater with a hint of sparkle I love this deep v-neck.
- I bought my toddler son this cashmere sweater in a few colors and it's the perfect lightweight layer, so soft, cozy and warm without the bulk!
- It's the season for cozy soups and roast chickens and this pot is as functional as it is beautiful. A luxurious gift for the chef in the family!
- I'm getting excited for our upcoming ski trip and just pulled out my favorite red ski suit that I just discovered is on major sale!!
- This coat is one of my favorite purchases of the season, the rich claret hue works throughout the fall and winter, and it's so chic with dressy and casual looks. A bonus: the sleeves are cut so it easily slips on over your bulkiest knits.
- Scanlan Theodore is a new brand for me, but all of the pieces I've got from them have been excaptionally well made and beautiful. I've got my eye on this happy red knit dress, which works year-round and has a wonderfully flattering fit and flare silhouette.
- I have these ballet flats in brown, but the poppy satin version is so happy, and will look chic year round.
- This red peacoat is made with Loro Piana Fabric, without the Loro Piana pricetag! I saw it in store and the cut is gorgeous, and it's a nice medium weight option.
- Pair this cable knit merino sweater dress with knee-high boots for a chic holiday look that's also warm.
- This satin dress is a glamorous, figure flattering option for the fanciest invitation. on your calendar.
- I love the classic hangisi heels in velvet, I have them in black but love the red as well! (For something more versatile and year-round these patent pumps are gorgeous!)
- This color-blocked fleece is a vibrant and cozy winter option to throw on over your workout clothes.
