The Best of Sezane’s Fall Collection

Stacie Flinner x Kilte Sweater Set Sezane Bag-1.jpg

I’ve been shopping from Sezane for years now (first at their stores in France before they expanded to the United States) and they’re such a fantastic source for well made classic pieces at a great price point. I’ve collected many of their pieces over the years and their fall collection launch is always my favorite. From 100% wool coats, to handsome blazers, to chic sweater dresses and mini skirts I always look forward to seeing what they have in store for the season ahead! I wore this outfit to tour the John Langdon House in Portsmouth last week, and love how these pieces offer a nod to fall with their colors and textures while also keeping me comfortable on a sunny day! Sezane’s fall collection just dropped this morning, so I’m sharing a few pieces that I already own and love, plus what I’m eyeing and buying for fall and beyond!

  • I’m ordering this green wrap coat which is a great transitional color for early fall and spring outfits, plus will be a happy pop of color in deep winter. It is very similar silhouette to a wool Max Mara coat I already own (but a much better price point!) and also comes in an array of beautiful neutrals like camel and sand, all of which are perfect for throwing over a range of outfits from a white tee and denim, to a gray trousers and a sweater for the office!
  • I have this lace blouse in ivory and it’s beautifully made. Wear on it’s own tucked into high waisted jeans or under a crewneck sweater so the lace pops at the neck!
  • If you’ve been reading here for a long time you know I prefer bags without logos, and Sezane’s Milo Bag (pictured above!) looks so luxurious (and similar to Celine’s Classique Triomphe!)  at a great price point. I own and love the taupe color, but they have a variety of gorgeous and unexpected colors to choose from like blue denim and glossy burgundy! It also comes in a smaller version and the patchwork version is so chic!
  • Sezane has always been good at mini skirts, and I love the rust mini skirt I’m wearing in this post for transitioning into fall. I’m wearing with this sweater set now, and will top with a cozy pointelle crewneck sweater later. Other minis that caught my eye include this wool wrap mini skirt and this versatile black pocket mini that will look great with sheer black tights in winter.
  • On the topic of sweaters, I bought this green sweater dress (love the thick ribbed neckline) and this pointelle henley which is cozy and so feminine, and happily both are 100% wool.
  • I’m into all plaid everything come fall and love this plaid jacket for casual fall outings from apple picking to dog walks (the big pockets are perfect for treats!)

    Hi Stacie,

Love all your posts! And your adorable baby!!
Quick question – the ecru pointelle henley from Sezane, is it itchy? You mention that you have it, and since it’s merino wool I’m wondering how it feels on the skin.

    Thanks in advance,

Hi Ilinca! I just bought the pointelle sweater yesterday when the collection launched so haven’t received it or tried it on yet, but I own other Sezane sweaters and don’t find their 100% wool sweaters itchy. I do get itchy when they have polyamide in the sweaters. (For example this sweater). Of course at some level it’s personal preference, as I generally prefer to wear natural fibers and I love wearing wool! I hope that helps a bit! xx Stacie

Oh I just realized you asked about the henley not the mockneck. Same thinking applies as the henley is also 100% wool. Will share when mine arrives (hopefully at the end of the week!) xx Stacie
