Cozy Styles for Cold Weather

“There is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.” - Alfred Wainwright

With January around the corner I'm layering up to ensure I'm ready for outdoor adventures whatever the weather. From ski days to winter walks to the daily errands and beyond, I find time in the crisp winter air is fun with the right apparel. Find my roundup of little luxuries to help you feel warm and fabulous throughout the cold winter months:

  • Warmer and chicer than a beanie, a shearling hat is the glam way to stay warm this winter. (Love this version too or a less expensive option here!)
  • The coat I'm wearing in this post is sold out in brown but still available in a beautiful navy version.
  • Whether you are looking for an affordable faux version or are ready to invest in the real thing, a shearling coat will keep you warm for years to come.
  • Shearling lined boots are a winter godsend.I love the look of these and these.
  • Cashmere socks are the ultimate luxury and wearing these or these in your boots ensures toasty toes.
  • A fantastic pair of knee high boots are essential for staying warm in winter and this equestrian inspired style is perfect for all manner of winter looks. (Plus, they're on sale!)
  • Whether you're looking for cozy shearling or a sleek leather option having a fab pair of gloves on hand is a winter essential.
  • Your mini me will be toasty too in this charming faux-shearling coat for little girls.
  • Keep your neck warm without the bulk of a long scarf with this lux cableknit neck gaiter.
  • These faux mink mittens are just too fun!
  • This new-to-me brand has tons of chic ski (or aprés ski) ready styles including this bodysuit, this cream two-in-one teddy coat and this black parka (on sale)!
  • While it won't technically keep you warm, a suede bag ups the cozy factor on any outfit and a few gorgeous options include this large tote, this smaller tote and this crossbody bag.
  • A coat with a built-in scarf (shorter version here) makes winter dressing effortless.
  • Reminiscent of a very chic marshmallow, this coat is an elevated take on the down parka. (I'd wear with this balaclava!)
  • These shearling boots are the perfect cognac color and sold out the day they debuted. A few sizes have just been restocked so if you love them, you'd better move quick!
  • If you have a ski weekend coming up these goggles are a fun upgrade to your ski kit!
  • While any woolly sweater will keep you warm there's just something about fair isle that feels extra cozy. Two favorites include this affordable cardigan and this lux cashmere crewneck!
  • Wider than most wool scarves this chocolate plaid is a handsome way to bundle up.
  • I just bought these darling earmuffs for outings when I need to avoid hat hair but still stay warm.
  • This faux fur coat is the epitome of chic winter outerwear.
  • I love the neutral hue of this wool knit hat ready for your time on and off the slopes!
