The Best of Tuckernuck’s Summer Collection

Tuckernuck just dropped the most charming summer collection in collaboration with Murray’s Toggery Shop, and it feels like a love letter to classic New England summers. Iconic Nantucket Reds, hand-stitched madras patchwork, easy cotton dresses, crisp button-downs, and breezy everyday staples come together in a way that feels both nostalgic and fresh. These are the pieces that make me think of eating cherries on the back porch, barefoot walks along the beach, bike rides to the ice cream shop, and lazy afternoons tucked into a hammock with a good book. Punchy, playful, and endlessly wearable, the collection captures that familiar East Coast summer magic and reimagines it for today.

All of the photos in this blog post were taken at La Fontelina, our favorite beach club in Capri, Italy. We love having a long, seafood lunch at their restaurant then napping in the sun loungers for the afternoon. Such a special spot! Please note that advance reservations are a must! xx

  • The gold knot buttons on this navy eyelet halter dress are such a beautiful detail. Pair with gold sandals and a striped tote for daytime adventures and a chunky gold bracelet and chic wicker clutch for a seaside dinner.
  • Let's talk Madras! Tuckernuck's summer heritage collection is full of wardrobe staples updated with this preppy fabric: think the madras version of my navy dress above (ordered!), a simple shift dress you'll live in, a dramatic maxi skirt that looks amazing with a white tee and sandals, to the perfect pair of shorts to wear with your Nantucket Red cotton sweater.
  • On the topic of Nantucket Reds, this classic weathered red chino fabric is the unofficial fabric of the island, and gets better with every wash. This color is practically a neutral, whether you opt for my favorite midi skirt (ordered!), wide-leg pants (ordered!), or a boyfriend button down to throw over your swimsuit, or the high-waisted shorts that will go with every gauzy cotton top.
  • This red-and-white striped knit mini reminds me of a Prada dress I love for a fraction of the price. I'd pair with these red strappy sandals which are so comfy.
  • This long sleeved Nantucker Red long-sleeved shift dress (ordered!) has over 500 five-star reviews, and I already own it in white eyelet. It's one of those throw-on-and-go pieces that looks equally chic with keds running after your kids as it does with a wedge espadrille for dinner.
  • Elevated yet easygoing, this navy crochet polo looks incredible tucked into white trousers, jeans or my favorite boucle mini skirt. It's the kind of piece that goes from a boat day to a nice dinner effortlessly.
  • For a playful vacation piece, this coastal-print linen-blend wrap skirt pairs perfectly with a simple tank and strappy sandals. The blue and green palette is so fresh for resort dressing, and they make a stunning maxi dress version as well.
  • A classic blue stripe seersucker button down is the summer staple that works with literally everything. Tuck it into the matching shorts, wear it open over a swimsuit, or pair with white jeans.
  • When you can't decide what to wear, this relaxed striped cotton dress is the answer. The sunset-inspired palette is so cheerful with flat sandals and a straw bag for farmers' market mornings or beach town exploring. (I have the gray and blue striped version!)
  • Court-ready but chic enough for coffee runs, this white tennis dress has built-in compression and a flattering A-line skirt. Tie a sweater around your waist and add diamond studs to take it off the court.
  • Borrowed-from-the-boys energy in the best way. This Nantucket Reds polo dress has a relaxed oversized fit that looks great with white sneakers for errands or sandals for a casual dinner.
  • Breezy and beautiful, this multi-striped seersucker maxi shirt dress is made for vacation strolls and weekend brunch. Cinch the waist tie, add espadrilles and layered gold jewelry, and you're set.
  • The contrast white collar and cuffs on this seersucker shirt dress are such a polished touch. Wear it with white sneakers for errands or ballet flats and a straw tote for lunch with friends.
  • Mixed stripes and a removable belt make this mini dress so versatile. (And perfect for July 4th!) I'd wear it belted with sneakers during the day, then swap in heeled sandals and gold earrings for evening.
  • How pretty is this sea glass crochet shift? The aqua tone and delicate crochet pattern are perfect for a seaside dinner. Pair with tan sandals and my favorite straw tote to let the dress do the talking.
  • Coastal vibes all summer long with these relaxed striped wide-leg pants that pair beautifully with a simple white tee or a tucked-in blouse. Add flat sandals and a woven bag for weekend exploring.
